NCYC NEWS! We are having an informational meeting about
the National Catholic Youth Conference on Sunday, March
7th at 2:30pm via Zoom. To join the meeting please go to
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89235356764 This conference is
for high school youth who will be in high school next fall. The
meeting is mainly directed toward parents, but youth are also
encouraged to attend, since we will talk a little bit about fund-
raising and dates. If you have any questions or can’t attend,

ST JOSEPH SCHOOL KINDERGARTEN ROUND-UP: Will
your child be attending kindergarten in the fall of 2021? Please
consider joining the St. Joe’s School family! Kindergarten Par-
ent Tours will be held on Tuesday, March 23rd and Thursday,
March 25th from 5-7pm with either Mrs. Roling or Mrs. Riede-
sel. Each tour/private meeting will be 15 minutes. These tours
are in lieu of the parent meeting that is usually held. Please call
the school office (659-3812) to schedule your tour. Due to
COVID, we ask that only parents attend the tour. We also ask
that you bring your child's birth certificate, baptismal certifi-
cate, and immunization records. Financial aid information will
be available during the tour as well. We hope your soon-to-be
kindergartener will be a part of our school family!
THE MASK CONFUSION: Recently there has been increased
confusion regarding masks. Masks are still required, along with
social distancing and sanitizing in preventing COVID-19.
Many news sites are now suggesting double masks are needed.
The Faith Community Health Team would like to caution you
that news sources may not be giving you the complete informa-
tion. Double masks are not double protection. Rather, there are
two ways to make sure your mask provides the best protection.
First, make sure your mask fits snuggly against your face cover-
ing your nose, mouth, and chin without gaps. A nose wire to
shape your mask to your face prevents gaps. Second, your mask
must have a least two layers of tightly woven material. You can
also choose to wear a disposable mask with at least two layers
or a double layer of tightly woven fabric. You should never
combine two disposable masks. For more information visit the
Centers for Disease Control website at: https://www.cdc.gov/
coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/effective-masks.html
