Yes The mine is located in a highlyindustrialized area of Korba district. Anumber of mines like Dipka OC, GevraOC and several underground mines ofSECL and their colonies are situated inthe study area. Semi urbandevelopment and ancillary industrydeveloped for supporting mining andother industries. This has led tocreation of social infrastructures likeschools, hospitals, roads, DETP etcwhich have helped in the economicdevelopment of the region. Theexpansion of mine will further help indevelopment of region through CSR
