LSOSTEON (SMALL GRANULES)

Osteon (I) is a synthetic bone regeneration material, which is 70% Hydroxyapatite (HA) and 30% Beta Tricalcium Phosphate (β-TCP). Madeby creating a trabeculated scaffold in HA. This is then immersed in a Calcium Phosphate (CaP) Sol-Gel and sintered to produce a β-TCP coating on the HA scaffold.

The β-TCP promotes osteoconduction and rapidly resorbs leaving space for the new bone to develop. The HA resorbs much more slowlyto maintain the volume. The high porosity (over 80%) makes this material a highly effective alternative to animal products. Handling is very similar to bovine particulate material.

The Help Kit from Dentium is primarily designed for use with the Dentium system but will also work with many other implant systems, particularly those with a tapered internal connection.

The kit consists of screw removers to extract broken abutment screws, abutment removers to remove fractured abutment hexes and fixture removers to remove the implant itself.

Quicker and easier to use than trephines or piezo surgery even an integrated implant can be removed in minutes.
