Genetics of Congenital Heart Disease

16th DHZB Lange SymposiumSeptember 25, 2021 Online

Dear colleagues,

We would again like to invite you to our annual symposium in Berlin in 2021.

The 16th DHZB Lange Symposium for Congenital Heart Diseasewill take place on September 25, 2021 online as a virtual meeting.

This year's symposium will be dedicated to the topic

“InGENe-ious Cardiology - Genetics of Congenital Heart Disease - DIGITAL”

In our program, we will focus on the role of genetics in the diagnosis, managementand prognosis of inherited cardiovascular diseases. Some of the basictechnologies, but also the latest developments in precision medicine will bepresented. We will attempt to define who, when, and how to diagnose and treatpatients, applying novel insights from genomic medicine. The different clinicalentities, including congenital heart defects, arrhythmias and cardiomyopathies willbe discussed in detail.

The main topics will be:

- Basic Principles of Genetics- Congenital Heart Defects- Cardiomyopathy /Arrhythmia- Genetic Testing- Precision Medicine / Novel Technologies / DZHK-session

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we do not see the opportunity to hold this event liveas the current and expected hygiene concepts do not allow enough place for theexpected number of attendants.

We are very much looking forward to a very interesting symposium and hope that wewill be able to welcome very many of you online in September 2021.
