We Focus On

" The concept of global warming effect has become one of the most potential hazards to

mankind. "

Global Warming“Global warming is an average increase in the

temperature of the atmosphere near the Earth’s surface and in the troposphere, which can contribute to changes in global climate patterns. Global warming can occur from a variety of causes, both natural and human induced. In common usage, “global warming”

often refers to the warming that can occur as a result of increased emissions of greenhouse

gases from human activities.”

EtymologyGlobal warming became more widely popular after 1988 when NASA climate scientist James Hansen used the term in a testimony to Congress.

He said, “Global warming has reached a level such that we can ascribe with a high degree of confidence a cause and effect relationship between the greenhouse effect and the observed warming."

His testimony was widely reported and afterward global warming was commonly used by the press and in public discourse.

Effects of Global Warming

The increase in ocean heat is much larger than any other store of energy in the

Earth’s heat balance over the two periods 1961 to 2003 and 1993 to 2003. More than 90% of the

possible increase in heat content of the earth system during

these periods.

Some impacts from increasing temperatures are already

happening.

Ice is melting worldwide, especially at the Earth’s poles. This includes mountain glaciers, ice sheets covering West Antarctica, Greenland, and Arctic sea ice.

Sea level rise became faster over the last century.

Effects of Global Warming

Sea levels are expected to rise between 7 and 23 inches by the end of the century.

Hurricanes and other storms are likely to become stronger.

Some butterflies, foxes, and plants have moved north or to higher, cooler areas.

Effects of Global Warming

Other effects could happen later this century, if warming

continues.

Floods will become more common. Rainfall in Ethiopia, where droughts are already common.

Less fresh water will be available.

Some diseases will spread, such as malaria carried by mosquitoes.

Effects of Global Warming

Solutions to Global WarmingWe can reduce global warming by this

three steps…….

1) Reduce Fossil Energy, 2) Plant Trees,3) Reduce Waste materials.

Reduce Fossil Energy: Make use of much less power, or even make use of option, nonpolluting power resources such as blowing wind energy.

Plant Trees: Simply because co2 is actually the most crucial green house gasoline, growing trees and shrubs along with other vegetation may sluggish or even cease worldwide heating. Vegetation consumes co2 as well as discharge air.

Solutions to Global Warming

Reduce Waste materials: We need

to reduce waste materials additionally

factory wastages, throwing damaged

product in open place. And also reduce green

house effects.

Solutions to Global Warming

ConclusionNow-a-days global warming is a major problem to world wide. We need to conscious about

this problem and make people conscious to reduce this

global warming.
