A. Make Table of Contents Automatically 1. First of all open “Microsoft Word Application”, make a new

document.

2. Creat ” Table Of Contents ” on the top page , and Click option heading 1 in the menu “Home”

3. After that we go to “References” menu and click “ Table of Contents” (located at the left on row submenu)

4. In the submenu it provided options, suppose that we select the one that is "User Table", just click.

5. And than we can choose “Table of Content” and You can customize the way a table of contents appears.

6. To editing content , other words or number we just click update table…  “Update page number only” =  that just for update number of pages, sand “Update entire table” = to update all of contents.

7. And the last , we can change text like we need

B Make Table of Contents MANUALLY

1. First of all open “Microsoft Word Application” , make a new document.

2. Click “View” menu and click “Ruler”. Make it sure rule tab was active.

3. Type in the Table of Contents on the second line, type "Title Page" .Then place the cursor on the title page .Click Ruler of white making it appear the sign of an “L”

(Just clicked one time). Make the sign as much as two piecesand set the position as picture below.

4. Double Click on the sign “L” the first (leftmost) . After clicked tab window will appear as below

5. On select Right Alignment t Leader select number 2 because we will create a table of contents with the points. If you want to create a table of contents with strip , could selectnumber 3

6. Finally , make sure the cursor is in the 2nd row which is "page title". Then press the TAB key on the keyboard. Will automatically pop up the points. Press TAB again, and then write the page number.
