Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College was founded by Padmabhushan Sri.N.Ramaswami Ayyar in 1951. It is situated on the banks of river Cauvery in the historical city of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu. It is one of the most popular women's colleges of Tamil Nadu and it is managed by Sri.R.Panchapakesan, the able and illustrious son of our revered founder Padmabhushan Sri.N.Ramaswami Ayyar.

The students are expected to conduct themselves in a dignified way ?that brings credit to the college and to themselves. Whether they are on or off the campus, the standards and traditions of the college should be preserved by them

Students should wear clean and decent dress confirming to the rules ?of modesty. The students should wear either saree or half saree on all Fridays and important occasions

The students are expected to be courteous and reverential to the ?staff members, distinguished visitors and invitees of the college

Students are expected to be attentive and silent while attending ?classes, meetings or any other gathering

Students are requested to spend their leisure hours in the reading ?room or library. They should not loiter on the verandas of the college or the college campus and disturb the classes at work

The cleanliness of the college buildings and surroundings is the ?responsibility of every student. Students should do their best to keep their class rooms and college premises neat and clean

Students should assemble for congregational prayer every morning ?at 9.15 a.m. Perfect silence should be maintained. Late comers will lose their attendance for the morning session

Students are expected to read the notices mounted on the college ?notice board carefully. Ignorance of any such notice thus pasted will not be accepted as an excuse for failing to comply with it

Private collection of funds must not be made without the approval of ?the authorities

Mobiles are strictly prohibited?

Students are expected to make effective use of the library services ?provided to them in the college
