ALLOWING YOUR ANDROID PHONE TO INSTALL APPS

Enable Unknown Sources

Before attempting a manual installation of apps using the .apk files, you must

first allow your phone to install from “Unknown Sources” (non-Market / non-

Google Play apps).

Allow application installs from “unknown sources”

Android 2.x: Go to Settings > Applications > select “Unknown sources“

Android 4.x: Go to Settings > Security > select ”Unknown sources“

Read the statement carefully

If you agree, click “OK”. Otherwise you are not giving permission to apps from out of

the market to be installed.

Now, Unknown sources is checked and you can proceed to the next step.

DOWNLOAD & INSTALL APK

Visit Webpage & Download File

The easiest way to download the apk and install it is by visiting the webpage from

your phone and downloading the apk directly.

To get started, download an APK file using either Google Chrome or the browser of your preference

in your Android phone. Click the icon (available at our website homepage) and start downloading

our mobile application.

Install the Application

Next, go to your app drawer and click Downloads; here you will find the file you just downloaded

(DonationsDesk.apk) .

Open the file and install the app. Note that some mobile phones might start asking you directly to

install the app so you don’t need to go to the app drawer and click Downloads to search the file

there.

Click “Install”.

Enjoy!

Wait for installation and click “Open”.

You can now browse non-for-profit organizations and donate whenever you want.

For future use of the application just open the app drawer and look for Donations Desk.

UNINSTALL THE APPLICATION

Application Removal

If for any reason you want to uninstall our application from your phone, you can follow these steps:

Go to the app drawer

Search for the application Donations Desk to uninstall

Click and hold on the app icon until new options appear. Keep the icon held down.

Drag the icon to “uninstall”

Confirm removal and finish
