AUDIT FINDINGS – mpbnAll Circle - Routers

› Test nodeB – MPBN connectivity status checked & configuration to be updated

› Junk configuration like E1 configuration present in routers : to be deleted

› Additional static routes configured : to be acted upon after discussion with Idea team

› RSVP LSP Secondary path to be configured› Few ports not implemented as designed› Few VRF names to be changed as per convention› MTU on EoSDH – 4470 to be configured

All Circle - Switches

• Test nodeB – MPBN connectivity status checked & configuration to be updated.

• Few ports connecting to core nodes are highly utilized – capacity augmentation needed

• RSTP with ECI – dependency on ECI configuration• Few Ports wrongly configured in vlan’s & vice-versa• Few STP configuration and status need to be corrected• Load-sharing algorithm to be standardized

AUDIT FINDINGS – CS CORE› Signaling and Payload hardware configuration have been checked and no deviation found against BoQ.

› Uniformity found on current software release in all the MSS nodes.› IPMIGR parameter found enabled in many MSS and should be disabled.› MTU value for IP interface is set to 1436 in some MSS and M-MGWs. It should be changed to 1500.

› GCP profile 6 is used in MGW which is as per the recommendations.› SCTP buffer threshold is set to 128 and should be changed to 192.› SCTP buffer size is set to 128 is some MSS and MGW. It should be changed to 256.

› Incoming and Outgoing streams for all SCTP Association should be configured with value of 17.

› Routing path supervision is found active for signaling traffic in few M-MGW’s and should be disabled.

Audit findings – ML-TN›Deviations have been observed in nodes in some parameters settings with respect to the standard recommendations / design.

›20% Nodes are not visible from SO-EM due to POP readiness and DCN

›Most of the deviation findings are common for all the circles:

›Radio terminal configuration›LAN configuration›Traffic class configuration›Ethernet settings›Bandwidth profile›RSTP settings

›TN Software Version is different need to be upgraded to R4.4FP2 to solve the LAG issue.

›MP, HP and J&K–QoS implementation in the MPBN nodes of MP, HP and J&K will be completed in 1.5 week

› MH & GJ –QoS implementation in the MPBN nodes of MH & GJ will be completed in 2.5 weeks

Implementation Plan - MLTN

›MP –Raipur, Indore RNC1 and Bhopal hygiene parameters implemented.

–Gawlior and Jabalpur will be closed by March 25, 2012.

› Guj–Ahmedabad, Surat and Baroda hygiene parameters implemented.–Rajkot will be closed by March 25, 2012.

›MH –Pune RNC-1 WIP, will be closed by March 21, 2012–Pune RNC-2, Sholapur, Nagpur, Nasik, Goa & Kolhapur will be closed by April 8th, 2012.

QoS Implementation in Node-B› GJ

– 1203 NodeB’s where QoS is to be implemented– Completed 80, more 80 planned on March 21st, 2012. – QoS implementation in 1203 NodeB’s will be completed within 15 days.

› MP – 399 NodeB’s where QoS is to be implemented– QoS implementation in 399 NodeB’s will be completed in 5 days.

› MH– 194 NodeB’s where QoS is to be implemented– QoS implementation in 194 NodeB’s will be completed in 3 days.

› Jammu– 114 NodeB’s where QoS is to be implemented– QoS implementation in 114 NodeB’s will be completed in 2 days.

› Srinagar– 110 NodeB’s where QoS is to be implemented– QoS implementation in 110 NodeB’s will be completed in 2 days.

HRAN Bandwidth to be made available by Idea in all the Fiber POPs in MH & MP
