3D Animation Competition 2012 Autodesk 3ds Max 2013 installation Guide

1) Login http://www.autodesk.com/3dsmax, and click “Trial”.

2) Select “Download 3ds Max Trial”.

3) Input your name and email, then click “CONTINUE”.

4) Input all necessary information

5) Press “Download Now” to start the download.

6) Select a location of your local computer for the download

7) After download, click “Install” to start the installation process.

8) Click “Install”.

9) Click “I Accept”, then Next.

10) Select “Standalone”, with Serial No 220-00000004 and Product Key 128E1, then click Next.

11) Press“ Install”.

12) After installation, click Finish.

13) Start 3ds Max 2013 and click “Activate” on the screen. You can also start using 3ds Max 2013 by clicking “Try”.

14) Check the box of Licence Agreement and click Continue.

15) Email the Request code to 3dac2012@summit.hk with email subject “3D Animation Competition”.

Please indicate your school name and your name. NOTE: if not succeed for first time, repeat step 12 and 13.

16) On receiving the “activation code”, press “I have an activation code from Autodesk”, copy and paste the activation code in the appropriate fields, and click Next. You can then click Help > about 3ds Max to view the number of days left for the licence to run.
