Speaker BiosThe Honorable Lisa Bartlett - Born and raised in Southern California, Orange County Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, 5th District, has been a resident of south Orange County for over 30 years.

Lisa began her career in public service when she was elected to the Dana Point City Council in 2006. During her term on the City Council, she served both as Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem. Lisa was elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2014 and re-elected in 2018 to represent the Fifth District of Orange County. She also served as Chairwoman of the Board in 2016 and 2019. In addition to her role on the Board of Supervisors, Lisa serves on various regional, state and national boards. She is Immediate Past-President of the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) and an At-Large Member of the National Associations of Counties (NACo). She also serves on the Boards of the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), Orange County Fire Authority (OCFS), Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA), South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), respectively, in addition to numerous others.

Clayton Chau, M.D., Ph.D. - Dr. Clayton Chau is Director of the Orange County Health Care Agency and our County Health Officer.

He was previously the Chief Clinical and Strategy Officer for MindOC, the nonprofit entity that supports BeWell OC, a coordinated system to improve Orange County’s mental health services. Dr. Chau has held leadership roles in Behavioral Health and Care Management at major public and private health organizations, including Providence Health System and L.A. Care Health Plan.

He started his career in Orange County with the Health Care Agency, working as a Psychiatrist in Behavioral Health Services for 13 years. He was also appointed a CalOptima Director in May 2020. Dr. Chau obtained his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Chelsea University.

He completed his Psychiatry residency at UCLA/San Fernando Valley followed by a fellowship with the National Institute of Mental Health, focusing on Substance Abuse and HIV. In 2012, Dr. Chau was recognized with leadership awards from the National Council for Behavioral Health and the American Psychiatric Association.

Richard Sanchez, REHS, MPH - As Chief Executive Officer, Richard Sanchez works collaboratively with the CalOptima Board of Directors to set the agency’s strategic vision and ensure successful implementation. He oversees all aspects of the organization and maintains positive working relationships with member, provider and community representatives as well as federal, state and county agencies.

A previous member of the CalOptima Board of Directors since March 2017, Mr. Sanchez has more than 36 years of leadership experience in public health organizations. Most recently, he was the Director of the Orange County Health Care Agency, as well as Director of Environmental Health. Before his tenure in Orange County, Mr. Sanchez served as Director of Environmental Health for the Sacramento Environmental Health Department and as Program Manager for the San Bernardino Environmental Health Department. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from UC Irvine and a Master of Public Health degree from Loma Linda University.

Mr. Daniel Predoehl - Dan Predoehl is a 16-year higher education professional with administrative expertise in enrollment management, curriculum development, academic advising, and student services. Having served traditional and adult students within public and private institutions across the western United States, he has served as the Assistant Dean of Extended Learning and Director of the Saddleback College Emeritus Institute for the past seven years. He focuses on improving existing processes, enrollment growth, and andragogy.

Dan is skilled in higher education brand management, integrated marketing, adult program enrollment management, and program growth. Dan earned his Master of Education degree in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Spanish from George Fox University.

Mr. Steve Moyer - Steve Moyer serves as Chief Executive Officer of AGE WELL Senior Services, Inc., headquartered in Lake Forest.

His Corporate leadership includes an extensive business background in finance, marketing, hospitality industry and real estate development. Prior to becoming CEO of Age Well Senior Services, Steve was an active member on several non-profit boards in Orange County, and also served on the Business Advisory Committee at UCI and as President of the California Restaurant Association (Orange County).

As CEO of Age Well Senior Services Steve’s focus is on preserving and growing the mission of Age Well Senior Services by advocating for our seniors in our community to live independently and AGE WELL. He is a graduate of Michigan State University.

Mr. Dylan Wright - Dylan Wright has enjoyed a varied career, ranging from solid waste management to public administration.

After five years with a private sector environmental engineering firm, Dylan followed the call to public service and has worked for the County of Orange for the last 20 years in various roles. In these capacities, he has had the opportunity to work collaboratively with counties, cities, private companies and non-profit organizations to accomplish mutual goals.

Dylan currently serves as Director of OC Community Resources, comprised of five programs, including OC Housing and Community Development, OC Parks, OC Public Libraries, OC Animal Care, and OC Community Services, which also includes the Office on Aging, Veterans Service Office and Community Investment Division.

Dylan holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Pepperdine University and a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.

Ms. Ericka Danczak - Ericka Danczak is Director of Aging and Veterans Services with OC Community Services, a division of OC Community Resources.

Ericka has over 15 years of County of Orange management experience leading programs for vulnerable populations, including older adults, veterans and military families, persons with disabilities, caregivers, and families living in poverty.

After spending 5 years with the Orange County Social Services Agency, Ericka returned to OC Community Resources in December, 2019, where she originally began her County career, serving as Director of the Office on Aging and Veterans Service Office.

Ericka holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University and a Gerontology Specialist Certification from California State University, Long Beach.

Dr. Sonia Sehgal - Dr. Sehgal is a board-certified UCI Health internist who specializes in geriatric medicine and senior health. She is also a Clinical Professor for UCI School of Medicine, Departments of Medicine and Family Medicine.

She has been recognized by the Orange County Medical Association and awarded as one of the Physicians of Excellence from 2012 to 2021. Dr. Sehgal has presented on a variety of important topics facing older adults, including dementia, fall prevention, geriatric challenges for primary care providers, healthy aging, and more.

Jim (don’t call me James) Taylor - Whether on a comedy club stage or at an industrial or corporate venue, this former radio talk show host is at home. Jim Taylor has shared the stage with a variety of popular performers, from Judy Tenuta to Jim Breuer.

On his comedy talk show Jim’s guests also included Jeff Foxworthy, Bobby Slayton, Kathleen Madigan and Weird Al Yankovic. He has performed at countless fundraisers, charity events and auctions for a variety of worthy organizations, acting as host, entertainment and auctioneer. Corporate events intrigue him, as he is given the opportunity to provide customized humor geared towards the particular company or industry.

Jim Taylor has had his own monthly comedy show at the Irvine Improv for the past 8 years.
