The purpose of this Bill is to include the KenyaPolice R eserve in that list.

N o expenditure of public m oneys will be involved if this Bill ispassed into law .

3. The stand premium and annual rent will be aé laid downin the . Schedule.. The successful tenderer will be required to

pay witbin seven days of notification that his tender has been wYaccepted 25 pet cent of the stand premium set out in tlwSchedule together with the prpportionate amount of rent dueto 31st D ecem ber, 1953. 4. The balance of the purchase price will be payable ondemand prior to the issue of title within seven days of thedemand, failing which the Com m issioner of Lands m ay declareany sums paid to be forfeited and tbe applicant shall bave nofurther claim to the plot.

5. The survey fees and' fees payable in resqect of the prepara-tion . and registration of the title together wlth the stamp duty(which is approximately 2 per cent of the purchase price andthe rent) in respect of the . grant must be p:id within sevendays of the dem and therefor. Title will be issued as soon asconvenient. '

6. ln the consideration of tenders regard will be paid to therelative m erits of the proposals and the snancial suëciencyof the tenderer td undertake them. Consideration will also begiven to the fact that the site is of great importance in thegeneral appearance of the City of N airobi and to tenderers'propom ls for preserving and improving amenities.7. Tenders m ust be supported by a statem ent from an estàb-

lished oi1 company conhrming the bona Iides of the applicantand including an undertaking that the tendqerer, if successful,will be appointed an authorizcd dealer in thost products ofthe company applicable to the use as a petrol servics station.

G eneral1. Grants will be m ade under tlle Crpwn Lands Ordinance

(Cap. 155 of the Revised Edition of the Laws of Kenya) andtitle will be issued under the Registration of Titles Ordinance. .The term of the grant will be 99 years from the first day of -..Wthe m onth following the notifcation of approval of the grant.

2. The Government or such person or authority as may beappointed for the purpose shall have the right to enter uponthc plot and lay and have acctss to water mains, service pipes,telegraph or telephone wires and electric m ains of all descrip-tions, whether overhead or underground, and the grantee shallnot erect any building in sucb a way as to cover or interfere'
