WHAT IS HOUSEHOLD WASTE

• Solid waste comprising of garbage and rubbish.

• Waste which is generated in the day to day operations of a household.

TYPES OF HOUSEHOLD WASTE

Organic waste: Kitchen waste, vegetables, flowers,

leaves, fruits.Toxic waste: Old medicines, paints, chemicals, bulbs

Recyclable: Paper, glass, metals, plastics.

Soiled: Hospital waste such as cloth soiled with blood

and other body fluid.

HOW GARBAGE IS COLLECTED?

Residents have to tied up the garbage bag properly

Collectors come and collect the garbage bag

HOW WASTE IS DISPOSED?

Waste disposal in Malaysia is totally

landfill.

The waste will dispose in the Disposal site.
