developing many proposals of vehicle speed limiter, including voice alarm, restricted speed,

GPS recorder, vehicle monitor system, over-speed recorder, ect. The vehicle speed limiter

The accident is very grievous because of vehicle over-speed, especially school bus,

coach car, tank truck, dreg truck, mixer truck and so on, which has speed limitation.

Oversea experience showed us that the accident rate will be reduced 2% after vehicle

install speed limiter. Safety is most important, so we must take an efficient measure to limit

speed. The present market is lack of this kind product, thus in order to avoid accidents,

many people try their best to eliminate the over-speed phenomena.

About this social problem, speed limiter is taken a measure that host program control

the vehicle with intelligent chip. It can limit the vehicle speed accurately without flameout. It

is stable and it has no influence of torque and horsepower. It can sure that accelerator pedal

can be a free action within limiting speed range.

At present, our company has installed lots of vehicles. And this speed limiter is suitable

for some cars as following: bus, tanker, school bus, dreg truck, mixer truck, garbage tow

truck, forklift and other industrial vehicles. There is an intelligent program in speed limiter to

recognize vehicle model. It is general and integrated, and easy to install and use.

2、Main function

The main function of this speed limiter is limit vehicle speed within a safe speed. It is

also a driving recorder and can record 72 hours speed parameter. The speed limiter’

threshold can be adjusted the speed range from 0 km to 100 km by managements. It is

suitable for many kinds of vehicles.

If driving vehicle within a set speed range, driver can operate the accelerator pedal.

When speed reaches the setting speed limiting value, the limiter will turn on. The

microcomputer chip checks the speed and control the servo system to reduce the

accelerator pedal, and then speed limiter will intelligently adjust the speed according to

speed and acceleration, to avoid vehicle speed beyond the setting speed value. For

example, the speed limiting value is set at 80 yards, so that the speed will not exceed 80

yards. The drive press the accelerator at a steady speed within 80 yards.

6. Operation of remote control

6.1. Speed setting

Press the speed key to enter speed menu, then input the number directly, or press the

plus and subtract key to adjust the speed. For example, 60yard. You can input 60 and press

the OK button.

6.2. Pulse setting

Pulse rate is a parameter to calculate the car’s speed. Adjusting pulse can make the

speed of speed limiter the same as the speed of the odometer. Incorrect pulse will lead to

incorrect speed of speed limiter.

Method one: After the installation of speed limiter, measure 10 meters distance on the

road. Then press the pulse key and drive 10 meters. Press the OK key to confirm.

Method two: Press the pulse key, then press the add and subtract keys to adjust. If the

speed of odometer is faster than the speed of speed limiter, press the add key, and vice

versa. Press the OK key to confirm.

6.3. Time setting

General factory has been set up for you, if you want to change the time, press the time

key. This menu altogether is divided into: years, months, day, hours, minutes, seconds 6

level; first level displayed of is years, by digital key entered 4 bit years, then by "" entered

nest level, months set, by digital key entered 2 bit months, then by "" entered nest level

day set, by digital key entered 2 bit day, then by "" entered nest level hour set, by digital

key entered 2 bit Shi, then by "" entered nest a level minute set, by digital key entered 2

bit minute, then by "" entered nest level seconds set, by digital key entered 2 bit seconds ,

And then press the "OK" key to confirm the time setting. Time has been setting good.

Instance: such as input 2014-12-20 14:50:20, press "TIME" key, entered set time, then

entered 2014, again by "", then entered 12, again by "", then entered 20, again by "",

then entered 14, again by "", then entered 50, again by "", then entered 20, then

determines; time set finished

6.4. USB download

Insert U disk into our speed limiter, display pop-up USB read symbol, and then press

the remote controller of USB key can download data, cannot pull out U disk when reading,

read after the display will become zero, head buzzer beep , that means reading is

completed, can pull out a U disk. Data reading can also press the button on the machine

directly read;

7. Computer PC software directly set the parameters

Use 9-pin serial port connection speed limiter with computer serial port, some

computers have no 9pin serial port, it is recommended to use USB turn serial port line. The

software for the green version, open the software. Boot input password, tacitly approves

0000

Then select the COM1 serial port, open the serial port to click OPEN PORT, and then

fill in the corresponding parameters. After filling click on SET parameters, can directly blank

if you do not set parameters. Time is automatically filled in, same as the computer system

time.

Examples:

DATE TIME: Fill in time, the system automatically filled in,

LICENCE PLATE: registration code, Fill in the Governor is the State registration number

DRIVE NAME: the name of the driver, up to 20 letters

SPEED: speed, speed limit setting 80km/h, then fill 80

VEHICLE NAME: speed Limiter governor names

OWNER MUMBER VEHICLE: registration number of the speed limiter

REGISTRATION VEHICLE: registration of speed limiter

8.Installation instructions

8.1. Function and wires installation

Wires color red black green yellow

supply negative pole Speed limit thread Speed signal line

Insert the fuse into the red wire, red wire connected to the positive pole of key switch,

the black connect to iron or the negative pole, the green line meet to the ACC control line of

key switch, yellow line to the signal wire of speedometer.

8.2. Function debugging

open the key's power supply, the display screen show speed - 000, then the remote

control toward to the screen, enter the password, the initial password is 0000. And then

adjust the pulse rate and speed of the speed limit, adjust then press OK key to save

information.

8.3. Test

Start vehicle then accelerate, when the speed be close to the speed limit, it will warning.

when reaches the limit value, the speed limiter immediately start to enforce speed limits,

speed even drop, Refueling is invalid. If speed recovery to normal speed, gas recovery,

remove the speed limit function.

9、Daily maintenance 9.1. The actuator form of speed limiter.

1.Check the surface of actuator of speed limiter and with or without corrosion situation；

2. Check the set bolt of speed limiter whether fix or not；

3. Check the component parts fastness or not；

4. Check the wire rod connected well or not, the fuse good or not.

9.3. The central control unit of speed limiter

1. Check the surface of central control unit of speed limiter and with or without corrosion

situation；

2. Check the central control unit of speed limiter connected well with 12B wiring harness.

9.4. The wiring harness of speed limiter

1.Check the surface of wiring harness if there is any breakage.

2.Check the joint of wiring harness connect well or not.

9.5. The speed testing

Check the signal line of speed limiter connected well with Pulse rate table, the viewing

screen accurate display speed or not.
