3 in 1 – the perfect tool fixture concept for long term investment

In most conventional small presses,the tool is mounted directly on thepress ram and is held in place with aset screw. If the thread in the setscrew bore is damaged, the ram hasto be replaced, which is expensive.Therefore, TOX® has developed the3 in 1 solution for:

Clamping disc ele-ments provide highradial clamping forcesfor a strong connec-tion.Advantage:No damage to toolfixture. Zero clearanceand detachable.Tool weight max. 4 kg.

The tool can be inser-ted directly into thethreaded pilot bore.

Conventional setscrew clamping is alsopossible for existingtooling.

Advantage:Prevents damage toram.

Tool fixture

This simple tool fixture is screwed intothe ram thread. It centers the tool viathe precision bore D and providesfixation of the tool using a set screw.

1 Home position of the press.2 First ratchet position: Loose work-pieces can still be aligned.3 Ratchet position in end position:The return stroke lock is released after the ram reaches the selectedend position. This guarantees theprocess repeatability and therefore aconstant usage.The locking function can be set toany position within the stroke.4 At this position of the returnstroke, the lock is activated again.5 The emergency knob releases thelocking function in any position.
