Part I
1. The Principal’s Report (2 pages)- Highlights the key activities, events, and
successes of the past year and briefly describes major new initiatives to be undertaken over the next year.
1. The first ever International Conference (Webinar) of the college was organized on ‘A
Discourse on Culture, Nationalism and Literature in the Present Scenario’ by the Dept. Of English on 12 June 2020.
2. A national e-conference on ‘Impact of Reverse Migration of Labour on Bundelkhand Region in the Backdrop of Covid-19’ was organised on 24 June 2020 by the department of Economics.
3. A national webinar on ‘Effective use of ICT in Teaching, Learning and Evaluation’ was organised on 27 May 2020 by the IQAC of the college.
4. A webinar on ‘Challenges and Opportunities of Higher Education in the Backdrop of Covid-19 Pandemic’ was organised on 30 May 2020 under the scheme Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat.
5. All the P.G. Departments have organised ‘Invited Lectures’ by inviting the eminent scholars and academicians under the scheme of Academic Excellence.
6. P.G. Departments such as Zoology, Botany, History, Geography and Commerce have arranged educational tours for the P.G. students under the scheme of Academic Excellence.
7. College has conducted district, and university level Youth Festival (cultural, literary and creativity) events during the academic session 2019-20.
8. 12 students of this college have participated at state level Youth Festival 2019-20. 9. 19 students of this college have participated in the National level Sports Events in the
session 2019-20. 10. The construction work of one hall type classroom and one zoology lab (up-gradation), from
the financial assistance given by RUSA, has been completed. 11. An interdisciplinary journal (ISSN No 2348-5639, Research Journal of Bundelkhand) is
being published quarterly. 12. NCC: 01 cadet has participated in the ‘All India Thal Sena Camp New Delhi’ and 02 cadets
have participated RDC in 2019. 13. This college has adopted a village (Dhadari) under the scheme of ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’.
The awareness programmes have been organised by the NSS units in the village during the academic session: 2018-19
14. 04 NSS volunteers have participated the State Level Leadership camp organized at Jhonteshwar (District- Narsinghpur from 03 to January 2020.
15. 81 students have been awarded certificates by Cambridge University UK under the training programme Cambridge Assessment English organized in the session 2019-20.
16. 04 teachers have been awarded the TKT certificates by the Cambridge University UK. 17. Certificate courses in ‘Communication Skills’ by the Deptt. Of English, in ‘Tourism’ by the
Deptt. Commerce, in ‘Performing Arts’ by the Deptt. of Fine Arts and in ‘Journalism’ by the Deptt of Hindi have been scheduled to be started from Feb, 2021.

• The college was established in the year 1885 as a School.
• It was upgraded to a degree college in 1949.
• It started with Arts, Science and Commerce faculties.
• In 1957 it was accorded with status of post graduate college.
• In 1957, the college was affiliated to Dr. H.S. Gaur University , Sagar and recently in 2015 it is affiliated to Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University , Chhatarpur.

7. The Student Experience (4 pages) Briefly describes student life in the college:

Students’ life in the college is ideal. Sufficient number of class rooms, one virtual class room, five smart classrooms, stadium with well-furnished hostel and equipped laboratories are available. A canteen, garden, separate retiring rooms for boys and girls, auditorium, a common library and departmental libraries for postgraduate students, a well equipped sports complex are available in the college premise. Financial assistance in the form of scholarship is given, as per the rules of the government of Madhya Pradesh, to the students of S.C., S.T., O.B.C. students and poor students of general category.
The college has a rich library; having 109169 books of all the faculties of arts, Science & Commerce. E-library facility is also available. Books are regularly issued to the students. Free books and stationery are given to the students of SC & ST students. Magazines, daily newspaper are regularly subscribed. The library is headed by a librarian and supported by book lifters.

As per the schemes of Govt. of Madhya Pradesh for higher education following scholarship are given to students of SC, ST, OBC and minority group.
1. Gaon ki beti Scheme – For SC, ST, OBC, General girl students of rural areas. 2. Pratibha Kiran Scheme - For SC, ST, OBC, General girl students of urban areas. 3. Avas Sahayata Scheme- For the students belonging to SC and ST. 4. Post-metric scholarship- For the students belonging to SC, ST and OBC. 5. MMVY Scheme- For the students acquiring 70% and above marks in 12th. 6. Asangathit Shramik Karmakar Scheme- For all students who fulfil the criteria. 7. Mukhymantri Jan Kalyan Shiksha Protsahan Yojana: for the wards of registered
shramkars.

1. The first ever International Conference (Webinar) of the college was organized on ‘A Discourse on Culture, Nationalism and Literature in the Present Scenario’ by the Dept. Of English on 12 June 2020.
2. A national e-conference on ‘Impact of Reverse Migration of Labour on Bundelkhand Region in the Backdrop of Covid-19’ was organised on 24 June 2020 by the department of Economics.
3. A national webinar on ‘Effective use of ICT in Teaching, Learning and Evaluation’ was organised on 27 May 2020 by the IQAC of the college.
4. A webinar on ‘Challenges and Opportunities of Higher Education in the Backdrop of Covid-19 Pandemic’ was organised on 30 May 2020 under the scheme Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat.
5. All the P.G. Departments have organised ‘Invited Lectures’ by inviting the eminent scholars and academicians under the scheme of Academic Excellence.
