seniors took their scholastic careers out in style. An emotional victory over NVLchamp Naugatuck capped off a very successful 8-3 season. The team will haveto do without the help of the co-captains Mike Frenza and Chris Lacilla, as wellas seniors: Scott Aesif, Dave Buck, KevinHartnett, Marc Mancini, Alex St.Andre, and Dave Vensel. The Senior Class Play for 1997 was anoutstanding demonstration of natural tal-ent, and devotion to WHS's first murdermystery. Eventhrough the challenge ofinclement weather nearly stopped our act,we perserveared. The students turned outto be some of the most comedic performersthis high school has seen in years. Eachcharacter had contributed to the wonderfulatmosphere that was evident in this play.This was due in part to the fact thatMs.Legge managed to give each individualthe perfect part for themselves.
