NAVRANG (Navratri) 2019

The students of Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj‟s Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College

Hospital & Research Centre, Nashik celebrated our Navratri Festival (NAVRANG‟19) on 4th

, 5th

&

6th

October 2019 which was organised by the MBBS batch 2016 and was conducted near the staff

quaters ground in our college campus.

Navrang 2019 was a three day event in which Garba (Dandiya) was played in the evening for

which the participants were the UG as well as PG students along with few teachers. Various Chief

Guest‟s were appointed for the Aarti (Pooja) in the evening on various dates. Dinner/Snacks were

provided for the participants playing Garba on these nights.

The Students of Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj‟s Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College, Hospital &

conducted by our Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj which was held at Gangapur Road, Nashik in the

by Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj on 22nd

January 2020 at Ozhar, Nashik in which 10 Colleges

Participated and we earned 8 Gold medals out of a total of 14 & Round II (Finals) was conducted on

January 2020 in Raosaheb Thorat Hall, Gangapur Road, Nashik in which 103 colleges

participated & we earned 3 gold & 1 silver out of a total of 15.

November 2019 at our college & some of which further got selected for

along with their prevention & control‟ for NSS and MSAI

students.

It was followed by „Demonstration of green gym facility‟ by

Sport and NSS secretaries for students for about 1 hour.

Student and faculty participated enthusiastically during the

activity which helped them to understand importance of

physical activity. Participants were encour aged to take

similar activities on their own to protect their own health.
