· How to set startup wizard?

① Tick the box before “Startup”, system goes to startup wizard again when the device boots

up the next time.

② Click “Next” button to carry out startup wizard process.

① Click the drop-down triangle in the red circle, choose a user name to login.

② Click “OK” after entering user name and password.

① Select the suitable video standard from red box, PAL

or NTSC according to different district.

② Choose working mode when HDD is full, stop

recording->the system stops recording, overwrite-

>then system overwrites the previous files.

③ Tick or not in the box to decide whether to enable

navigation bar.

④ Click “Apply” to save the configurations on this page .

⑤ Click “Next”.

① There are three types: YYYYY-MM-DD, MM-DD-YYYYY

or DD-MM-YYYY.

② Select correct time offset according to different district.

③ Set DST time and date, tick in the box to enable the

function.

④ Set NTP server information, tick in the box to enable

the function.

⑤ Click “Apply” to save the configurations on this page .

⑥ Click “Next”.

① Select the mode to set IP.

• Static->manually sets IP address, subnet mask and

gateway.

• DHCP->automatically search for IP.

② Enter correct IP address, subnet mask and gateway,

make sure IP address and gateway are in the same

segment.

③ Click “Test” to check if IP address connects default

gateway.

④ Maximum transmission unit.

• Default values Ethernet: 1500; PPPOE: 1492; DHCP: 1468.

⑤ Click “Next”.

① Tick in the box to enable P2P function, when the

status shows “Online”, users can get access to the

device via cell phone clients.

② Scan the first QR code by cell phone to download

client. Scan the device SN to access and manage the

device.

You can only see the registration interface if you have set

IP channel. The DVR supports ONVIF standard protocol.

① The devices connected by network is here.

② Click “Add” to add the remote device.

For the uninitialized device, we can set the initial

password for them.

① Check “Uninitialized”, and we can see all the

uninitialized device in the list.

② Check the device to initialize it.

③ Click “Initialize” button to set the password and email

for the camera.

① Scaled video coding, enable the function to guarantee

video quality and transmission fluency.

② Select record type: regular, MD(motion detection) and

alarm.

③ Set sub-stream parameters.

④ Select bit rate type: CBR(constant bit rate),

VBR(variable bit rate). When choosing VBR, users can

set video quality ranging from 1 to 6.

⑤ Click “Apply” to save the configurations on this page .

⑥ Click “Next”.

① HDD full: It is to select working mode when hard disk

is full. There are two options: stop recording or rewrite.

② Package Mode: There are two ways for you to set:

Time Length or File Length.

③ Auto Delete Old Files: Never or Customized.

① Select a specific channel to set schedule or just select

“All”.

② Enable redundancy backup, the function is activated

when there are more than 1 HDD.

③ Click the gear symbol to proceed period setup.

④ Click “Apply” to save the configurations on this

page .(Detailed setup will be introduced in later

section)

⑤ Click “Finished” to finish startup wizard.

Notes: All the functions mentioned above can be

set later if missed.

Right click at the interface after startup, choose “main

menu” to call out the main menu.

Follow the path: SETTINGS->SYSTEM->general, tick or

not in the red box to enable/disable startup wizard

after the device booting up.
