MARTIN ERIK ANDERSEN, SMALL GARDEN (THE COBBLESTONES UNDER THE BEACH), ISIS GALLERY, BRIGHTONParis streets are internationally known for their beauty and their revolutionary past. Martin Erik Andersen in partnership with Isis Gallery will create especially for cutlog a sculpture, which will start from planting a small tree, in front of the Bourse de Commerce to honor those two emblematic aspects. The sculpture will be faithful to Andersen style using steel, plaster, wire, wax, cigarette ash, etc… The work will be created spontaneously from scratch found and gathered around the installation site.Besides, as a reflection of the first sculpture, Andersen will install an identical tree in the Isis Gallery booth, which will put forward an uncanny tension between the two places.

QUENTIN ARMAND, PUSSY! , GALLERY E.G.P., PARIS“Pussy!” obviously refers to the three singers sent to labor camps for some kind of mischievous ballads. The sculpture is composed into three metal military or prison like cupboards with pairs of legs coming from the upper flooring.Three girls in three cupboards are walking around Paris, but won’t move and won’t see anything, still we will be able to watch their surrounding, walk around, not talk to them but think about them.

DAN MILLER, UNTITLED, CREATIVE GROWTH, OAKLANDAn A-class Mercedez Benz, customized by american artist Dan Miller will be displayed in the forecourt.Dan Miller’s work reflects his own particular perception of the environment and what it is made of. Letters, figures, words are repeated non-stop under a mass of painting and ink… until the vanishing of the first matter. Each work reflects the artist’s obsessions (light bulbs, circuit breakers, food, names of cities, etc). Dan Miller operates the body of the vehicle with the same force he uses in his other works.

LABOFACTORY,  METAMACHINE  N°2  :  FLUXUS,  SPREE  GALLERY,  PARISA horizontal stele, 4 meters long, 80 cm high and 15 cm deep, is placed horizontally in space at observation height. It contains a basin, two parallel glass tops of 2,50 m, with a horizontal, ethereal line in the middle, which represents the water level.Space is in the shade. Little by little this line comes to life, ripples and moves distinctively from one extremity to the other of the object.Light beams fill the space, going with the tops of these ripples, and follow the waves movement. The ripples spread horizontally with variable speeds, frequencies and amplitudes, according to the sound. The light moves simultaneously, slows down and speeds up.Its a real visual and abstract choreography, filling the space with waving flows, visual and audible, perfectly synchronized and in ongoing transformation
