The last months have been busy at the Ananda Kalpataru Master Unit. Weinstalled 12 feet by 16 feet shed (a small house) that will serve temporarily as

Dharma Cakra hall, accommodation when it rains, and storage. The shed is locallymade with a wooden structure and has good ventilation and a fragrant woodsmell.

Ac. Kovid Brc. and volunteers installed six raised beds for planting vegetables andmade decorative flower beds along the road. On the occasion of Ananda Purnima,a forty-two pages souvenir was published with the one-year highlights of theAnanda Kalpataru Master Unit. The souvenir was prepared by Ac. AbhiramanandaAvt. and Ac. Meditation Retreat, Ananda Dhiira MU

A small meditation retreat was organized by Didi Ananda Acira on February10-15. Even though it was a small group, it was a very powerful retreat, and

everyone felt very inspired. We had a lot of Kiirtan and meditation, and the sistersgot their higher lesson during this period. Seminar topics were discussed duringthis retreat, and we also spent meditating and walking in the beautiful nature ofAnanda Dhiira. Aside from spiritual sharing, Didi also shared about health anddetoxification where sister Padma felt so inspired that she decided to do ten daysof juice fasting after the retreat.

During the retreat, we also had a baking class where brother Surainjan taughthow to bake sourdough bread, and Didi Ananda Acirá taught how to bake carobfruit cake. Those were enjoyable moments. Everyone left the retreat joyous andfull of inspiration. After the retreat, all attendees, sister Padma, brother Caetanya, and sister Shanti Devii, became very active in our online study groups.

Spiritual lifestyle training was conducted by Didi Ananda Acirá in AnandaDhiira MU. Sister Shanti and sister Diipali attended. Shanti stayed with Didi fortwo months, and Diipali has stayed with Didi for six months now. During thetraining, we had very regular spiritual practices, karma yoga, different classessuch as conduct rules, neo humanism, Prout, spiritual classes, and various skillssuch as making enzymes, cultivating soils, cooking, and preserving food, etc.During this period, sister Shanti was very inspired. At the end of the retreat, sheexpressed her gratitude for having a chance to live in Ananda Dhiira, learn manythings, feel the blissful environment, and enjoy the fresh air and wildlife. Themost important aspect was that her spiritual practices became so deep becauseshe got a chance to learn her higher meditation lessons during the training.

Volunteers at Ananda Dhiira MU Since last January, we have startedcultivating the soil by clearing the weeds and adding compost and enzymes. Wealso built two additional raised beds, helped by Vincent. We also cleared a lot ofblackberry bushes, and at the end of February, Surainjan helped us install anirrigation system. Didi Ananda Acira also started germinating different seeds tobe ready by Spring. Of course, we always have a lot of Kiirtan, meditation, andoutings during this time.

Brother Surainjan passed by during the meditation retreat and gave a class onhow to bake sourdough bread. Didi made a cake, he made bread.

After a long period of the Pandemic, we finally had on March 18 – 20, 2022, a verysuccessful in-person retreat organized by Didi Ananda Acira and Didi AnandaHitaprabha, attended by around 20 people, including children. We had manydifferent activities where everyone really enjoyed and was inspired. We had a lotof spiritual practices with very joyous and vibrated Kiirtan led by brothersNityananda and Mayank. Didi Ananda Acira gave a spiritual class on Kos’as whereeveryone experienced the different layers of the mind through activities.

We had karma yoga where the margiis did different duties, such as tree planting, clearing up some trash, and fixing the house’s equipment (table, electricity, etc.)

A very delicious sentient food was served with the help of margiis led by DidiAnanda Hitaprabha. We also had some fun activities such as treasure hunt and

face painting, which everyone enjoyed, especially the families. We ended ourretreat by celebrating the Holi festival with colors. Everyone was very inspired inthe retreat and looking forwards to the next retreat.
