Nature lover’s paradise – a unique and rich diversity of wildlife. Madagascar has more species of endemic flora and fauna than any other places on earth. Most famous among them are the Lemurs. These adorable furry primates are found nowhere else in the world.

Madagascar is big - the 4th biggest island in the world. To fully appreciate its spectacular diverse terrain each sheltering its own unique speciess of lemurs, it would takes several weeks by road. Our trip takes you on private charter flight accessing the remotest corner of the country within 10 days letting you experience its incredible diversity otherwise impossible.

A leading Primatologist will accompany us for 3 days at Andasibe National Park, the ideal place to observe many species of primates.

DAY 03 - 04 JUN (TUE) - ANDASIBE NATIONAL PARK

Andasibe is one of the most popular park to see the lemurs. The forest shelter 14 species including the biggest one Idri. This morning, we go on a walking safari in search of them.

In the afternoon, we have the opportunity to go up close with 3 or 4 species of lemurs in Vakona Private Island.

DAY 02 - 03 JUN (MON) - ANTANARARIVO | AMBOHIMANGA | ANDASIBE

This morning, we drive 1½ hour to the Royal Hill of Ambohimanga, the former palace of the Malagasy Royal family. Today, it is an UNESCO World Heritage site.

After visiting we continue with another 3½ hour drive to Andasibe National Park. Tonight, we will enjoy a night walk looking out for some of the nocturnal lemurs such as Mouse and Wolly as well as other species of animals.

DAY 01 - 02 JUN (SUN) - SINGAPORE JOHANNESBURG ANTANARARIVO

Arrive in Johannesburg early this morning to connect flight.

Upon arrival, meet at the airport and enjoy a short tour of the capital today spending most time in the old city with its blend of local colorful architecture and French colonial charm. Ascend to the old Queen’s Palace where you can also enjoy a great panorama of the city and surrounding valley.

DAY 04 - 05 JUN (WED) - ANDASIBE | ANTANANARIVO | ISALO

Today, we drive 4 hours back to Antananarivo Airport. After lunch, board our private charter flight to Ranohira Airport.

DAY 05 - 06 JUN (THU) - ISALO NATIONAL PARK

Some called it Isalo Jurassic Park while others Malagasy Colorado. Indeed, the canyon and rock formation is very impressive. And they are also habitat for 5 species of lemurs including the beautiful Verreaux Sifaka and ring-tailed lemurs. We spend the full day exploring the park by foot with plenty of time at scenic spots and searching for lemurs and other wildlife.

DAY 06 - 07 JUN (FRI) - ISALO | MORONDAVA - AVENUE OF BAOBAB

This morning, our private plane take us to Morondava on the west coast of Madagascar and gateway to 2 great natural highlights. Visit the Kirindy Reserve in the morning, a lovely deciduous forest with 7 species of lemurs.

In the afternoon, experience the iconic trees of Madagascar at its best – the Baobab. Madagascar has 5 of the 6 species in the world, 4 of which are endemic here. The sight of rows & rows of this impressive trees along the Avenue of Baobab is memorable.

DAY 07 - 08 JUN (SAT) - MORONDAVA | TSINGY DE BEMARAHA

Start early this morning and board our private charter plane to Tsingy du Bemaraha Park. Tsingy means walking on tiptoe. The nearly impenetrable labyrinth of limestone needles justifies this name. The whole protected area has been designated a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.

Spend the day exploring the park by foot.

DAY 08 - 09 JUN (SUN) - TSINGY DE BEMARAHA | ANJAJAVY

Return to Bemaraha Airstrip to catch our charter flight for 2½ hours (including refuel stop) to Anjajavy. This exclusive Relais & Chateaux resort is tucked away in a remote northwest corner of the country. Nestled in its own reserve with the blue water of the Mozambique Channel and personalized service and superb cuisine, it is a perfect way to end our Madagascar adventure. And of course, there are still plenty to do and explore.

This evening, enjoy a night walk to see the nocturnal lemurs and other wildlife.

Go on a boat trip to appreciate the dramatic coastline of the region and you may enjoy snorkeling (no extra cost) if you like.
