In this issue of Amagram we have invited three Distributors who were all elite students to share their reasons for joining Amway family and spell out their future dreams.

早在投身職場前，文邦已兼職發展安利事業，於是便順理成章全力經營。「認真發

展這盤生意，整個人的信心也回來了，只要努力和用心經營，自然得到理想的回

報。」除了金錢的回報，文邦亦切身感受到前輩經常提及的「時間自由」及「生

活保障」兩大優勢。「我跟一起經營安利的太太梁靜雯(Quintina)，每年都有很

多旅遊機會，這些都是安利給予我們的獎勵，即使我們必須放下工作照顧家

人，我和太太皆全無顧慮，安利仍然讓我們維持着理想的收入。試想想，如果

我們在打工的話，相信連請數天假也不容易呢！」

文邦回想當初全身投入安利事業的時候，必須重新學習許多待人接物的技

巧，令他得著不少。「我們每天都接觸很多新事物、新朋友，教我覺得自

己所知的原來很有限，更提醒自己必須努力學習。」作為在安利創出一番

佳績的年青一代，文邦寄語年青人要克服自己的盲點，虛心學習，成功的

終點指日可待。

在香港傳統名校畢業的李文邦，來自書香世家，更是會考九優狀元，於本港著名大學資訊工程系畢業後，在香港一

間知名銀行擔任系統工程師。這些都是許多人眼中羡慕不已的機遇，但對文邦而言，這卻是人生中最迷茫的時刻。

「求學時成績優異，讓我在選校、選科都不愁出路，但踏出社會工作卻讓我沒有選擇的餘地。」文邦回想在銀行工

作時，上司向他承諾會在一年後加薪，結果一而再、再而三的延遲，最後的增幅不過是毫不起眼的金額。「當時我

的內心失落了好一陣子，原因並非這輕微的增幅，而是長久以來付出的努力只換來了無情的否定。這時我才發現自

己只是大機構內一粒微不足道的塵埃，因此決定闖一番屬於自己的事業，尋找自己的真正價值。」

Having achieved an impressive “nine As” in the public examinations, Bong studied in the information engineering faculty at one of the top universities and then went on to work in a well-known bank in Hong Kong after graduation. He worked hard and his supervisor promised that salary increments would come quickly - but over many years the promise never materialized.

When he did finally get a raise, Bong was shocked at how small the increment was. “It wasn’t just a matter of the size of the salary increment; it was a feeling that I had been let down,” Bong said. He came to realize that he was just a cog in the corporate wheel and began to think about setting up his own business. After being let down by the corporate world he had a growing urge to take full control over his life and career.

“I found myself become more self-confident after I’d decided to devote myself fully to Amway. You will be rewarded with considerable returns if you work hard in this business,” Bong said.

In addition to financial protection, Bong has greatly enjoyed the free time and life protection offered by the Amway business. “My wife Quintina and I are both working hard on the business now and we get to enjoy the company incentive trip every year. We are happy that we can take care of our family whenever they need us,” Bong beamed.

“Thank you Amway for giving us the chance to learn new things every day,” Bong said, encouraging the younger generation to work hard and overcome obstacles in the pursuit of good returns in life.

擁有土木工程學位並以一級榮譽畢業，更在香港著名大學修讀環境科學博士學位的李超逸(Roy)，自小就在父母的期望下循規蹈

矩地成長，加上對自己要求甚高，Roy的學業成績非常優異。大學畢業後，Roy一心以為受聘於大機構、擁有專業工作便達成了

父母的心願，同時他也開始思考自己的前程，自己想要過怎麼樣的人生？「我曾在某大機構當實習生，雖然擁有足夠的實習機

會和人脈資源，但發揮空間畢竟有限， 作為一口『小螺絲』，亦難以學習到真正的企業營運和管理學問。」短短的實習體驗令

Roy萌生創業的念頭。

這時，Roy遇上他人生中一位重要的伯樂。「當時正考慮轉職金融行業，遂特意向一位在投資銀行工作的大學師姐取經，發覺她

竟同時經營安利事業，在她介紹下我便加入了。」最初Roy只抱着賺取創業資本的心態加入安利，後來卻發覺在安利得到的並不

只是金錢，「安利是一個很好的學習平台，前輩們的用心教導，使我在時間管理、情緒控制、溝通能力、人際關係及領導才能

等方面大有進步，這些都是在大學或一般職場不曾學習到的東西！」Roy覺得這些「軟技巧」對自己往後處事或工作都有莫大裨

益，也令他成長不少。從前內向害羞的Roy，成為了今天充滿陽光氣息、正面積極的年青人，更讓他的安利事業更進一步。

與此同時，Roy深深體會到安利事業的好處，「事業的彈性和自由度，讓我可以兼顧學習，同時得到經濟保障。」眼見Roy可以

學術、事業倆兼顧，人也成熟了不少，父母倍感自豪。

對於未來，Roy更是胸有成竹，「安利事業雖然要花上不少心力經營，但從前輩身上你會明白到，就財富、時間及自由度而言，

相比在傳統職場工作，我將享有更多的自主權，讓家人享受更豐盛的生活。」

Roy holds a degree in civil engineering after graduating with first class honours, and he is now studying for a doctorate in environmental science at a highly respected university in Hong Kong.

Roy always intended to do well in his studies and join a profession so that he could reward his parents’ love and devotion. However, his thinking began to change after his experience as an intern in a large organization.

“I discovered that it wasn’t easy to explore my potential, and it was also difficult to get useful knowledge about the operations and management of the business,” he recalled. After gaining work experience for a short time he began to become more interested in setting up his own business.

Roy was introduced to the Amway business by his university senior, and initially he thought of using it to generate some start-up capital for another venture he had in mind. “I was surprised that money wasn’t the only return the business offered,” he said. “I soon found out that Amway is also a good learning platform that could help me to improve my interpersonal and communication skills. My time management and EQ have improved as well.” Roy now has the confidence to go out and share his experiences of the Amway business with others.

Amway’s unique operational model and the financial stability it provides have given Roy more free time to focus on his studies. He feels more confident about the future now. “For sure you need to work hard to develop the business, but it’s worth it. You will enjoy financial and time freedom and give yourself the kind of bright and promising future that a traditional business might not be able to offer.”

一向視讀書考取最佳成績為目標的聞雯(Minnie)，在大學商學院以一級榮譽的優異成績畢業，獲得學院頒發「最傑出學生」的榮銜，

成績驕人。其後她獲聘於一間著名的金融機構，是別人眼中的理想工作，不過在Minnie心裡，似乎另有盤算。

唸大學的時候，一向只著重學業的Minnie開始接觸課本以外的生活，如加入學會及參加課外活動等，還到「Big 4」(傳統四大會計師

樓)實習，漸漸讓她想及將來的前路。「在Big 4工作忙碌得毫無私人生活可言，我不禁問自己：『這可會是我將來的出路？生活和工

作找到平衡嗎？』」此時Minnie恰巧認識了幾位已畢業的大學師兄和師姐，他們不約而同都選擇了安利的創業平台，希望尋找新方向

的Minnie，決定從中了解安利事業。

「最初只因好奇，同時想了解師姐全職經營安利事業的原因，結果真的令我大開眼界。」Minnie謂在安利可以接觸到來自不同階層的

朋友，視野擴闊了不少；自小愛獨來獨往的Minnie，也在安利的平台結交到不少新朋友，令她變得更開朗，「性格上的改變讓我更懂

得人情世故、更自信，沒有初出茅廬般少不更事。」

深入了解安利事業後的Minnie，充分體會到安利和傳統工作的分別及優勢。「安利充實了我的生活體驗，更有機會獲邀請到不同的國

家出席安利的旅遊研討會，這些都是一般在辦公室工作的打工仔未能嘗試和體驗到的寶貴經歷。」

談及發展安利的未來大計，Minnie希望能把安利的事業介紹給身邊不同的朋友。「不同階層的朋友也能透過把握安利事業機會，擁有

更美好和自由的生活，如果能幫助身邊的朋友，為他們的人生帶來正面的改變，那種滿足感定比在大機構身居要職大得多！」

Minnie always thought of herself as a hardworking person and her goal was to be an academic star. She studied in the business faculty and graduated with first class honours, and won a place on the Dean’s list. Minnie subsequently joined a well-known financial institution - but actually had another plan in mind.

Minnie had taken part in various extra-curricular activities at university which helped to broaden her horizons. “I was then given the chance to work at one of the four famous accounting firms, but the stress and heavy workload made me think about my career and my future,” she recalled. Around the same time as Minnie was having doubts about her career, some university friends introduced her to the Amway business. She decided to join Amway as she believed it might open up another opportunity for the future.

“I was really amazed by the Amway business right from the start,” said Minnie. She has made many new friends through Amway, which has helped to widen her outlook, and become more optimistic about life. The positive impact on her personality has made Minnie feel more confident about working and communicating with others. Moreover, Amway has provided Minnie with a valuable life experience and the chance to take part in company travel seminars around the world.

Looking to the future, Minnie said she would like to share the Amway business opportunity with more of her friends. “I feel very happy about helping others to live better lives by grasping this golden business opportunity,” she smiled.

人體機能，特別是增強心肺功能、改善內分泌，使人體在靜態時的

代謝水平提高、能量消耗增大、促進游離脂肪酸的分解。因此，想

真正達到體重管理的目標，除了「忍口」外，還要多做運動。

Exercise can play a very important role in losing weight. It helps improve the functioning of the heart, lungs and endocrine, as well boosting the body’s metabolism and energy consumption and promoting the decomposition of free fatty acids. A balanced diet should include grains, vegetables, milk and meat, but we need to eat different quantities to make sure we absorb the right amount of calories and fat during the weight management period. For normal people it is suggested to divide your daily food consumption as follows: 10% to 15% of quality protein, 50% to 60% of carbohydrates and 20% of fats. Grains, vegetables and fruits are more preferred for people going through a weight management programme and the proportion of food should be switched to 25% of quality protein (half of which is plant protein), 60% of carbohydrates and 15% of fats.

人體內的蛋白質由20種氨基酸按不同組合構成。人體通

過攝取膳食中的蛋白質以獲取合成身體蛋白質所需的氨基

酸，某些氨基酸於人體不能合成，或者合成速度遠不能滿

足身體的需要，必須從膳食補充，這些氨基酸稱為必需氨

基酸，而人類的必需氨基酸共有9種。非必需氨基酸並非體

內的蛋白質不需要，而是人體可以自行合成，而不需從膳

食中吸收。但當膳食總氮量不足時，體內合成非必需氨基

酸的數量會受限制，從而抑制身體蛋白質的合成。

人體攝取蛋白質是為了滿足身體對各種氨基酸的需要。蛋

The protein inside our body is composed of 20 different amino acid structures. Humans need nine types of essential amino acids that either cannot be synthesized by the body or have a production rate that is far slower than the consumption rate, so these have to be absorbed through our diet. Non-essential amino acids can be synthesized by the body, but a low nitrogen content in food will affect the synthesis of non-essential amino acids, which in turn inhibits protein synthesis.

We have to absorb enough protein to fulfill the needs of amino acids inside the body. The amino acid scoring pattern is the ratio between various amino acids in protein; the higher the scoring pattern, the more nutritious the food is. The Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acids Score (PDCAAS) is one of the key indicators of the nutritional value of protein. A PDCAAS of 1 (100%) indicates that the protein is high quality and can be fully absorbed and utilized by the body.

曲奇

先把雞蛋打成蛋漿，牛油加熱預先融化，再加入砂糖、奶粉及蛋漿一起拌打均勻，直至砂糖溶解。Whisk the egg and melt the butter. Add the sugar, milk powder and whisked egg to the melted butter and stir thoroughly until the sugar dissolves.

1 麵粉分三次加入已拌打均勻的材料中，再將其搓成麵團，用麵粉幹把麵團滾壓成薄片狀，再按自己的喜好用曲奇模印製出所需的形狀。Add the f lour into the mixture and blend thoroughly to form a dough. Knead the dough and use a rolling pin to roll it out into a thin sheet. Use a cookie cutter to form cookies in shapes according to your own preference.

把曲奇放入三公升平底煎鑊中，蓋上鍋蓋用小火烘焙10分鐘後翻至另一面，再蓋上鍋蓋繼續烘焙約1分鐘，即可享用。Put the cookies into the Three Liter Fryer, cover with the lid and bake for 10 minutes on a low heat. Turn the cookies over and bake for a further one minute. Serve.

以錫紙覆蓋鋼杯，再把蛋漿加入鋼杯內並放入三公升平底煎鑊中，蓋上鍋蓋用小火焗20分鐘，熄火再焗10分鐘，即成。Cover with the aluminium foil and add the mixture to the utility cups. Place the cups into the Three Liter Fryer, close the lid and bake for 20 minutes on a low heat. Turn off the flame and bake for another 10 minutes. Serve.

?18區之趣 你知多少？不說不知，原來香港最早種植洋紫荊的地方是位於

南區薄扶林的伯大尼修道院。伯大尼修道院於130多

年前由巴黎外方傳教會興建，是香港第一所傳教士

療養院。當年喜愛園藝的神父首先於香港南區發現

洋紫荊，並移植到修道院內種植。由於洋紫荊沒有

果實，不能以種子繁殖，只能以扦插法或嫁接法繁

殖，所以現時所見到的洋紫荊，都是由神父當年發

現的那棵洋紫荊衍生而來的。

美利樓是香港最古老的建築物之一，現活化為食肆集中地，是赤柱地標。

赤柱除了飲食及購物外，更有極具歷史價值的美利樓。美利樓是香

港最古老的建築物之一，原座落於金鐘花園道(即中銀大廈現址)，

1982年因香港中國銀行的建築工程而清拆，磚塊逐一封存，其後

於赤柱重建。美利樓樓高三層，主要以巨型花崗岩建成，具有維多

利亞時期的建築特色，現已成為赤柱的地標。美利樓經活化後，成

為食肆集中地。

As in previous years, Amway Hong Kong was active in carrying out various environmental activities in 2012, from promoting a greener workplace in its office complex to encouraging green shopping at its merchandising centres. It also sponsored the “Amway Organic Farming of Primary Schools in 18 Districts” - an initiative organized in collaboration with the Hong Kong Organic Resource Centre. The programme aims to encourage a better understanding of organic farming and promote the importance of environmental protection among primary school children.

Amway Hong Kong was honoured with a Silver Award in the Sectoral Awards (Retailers) scheme for three consecutive years from 2009.

We are pleased to announce that Amway Corporation Chairman Steve Van Andel and President Doug DeVos have accepted an invitation from the Board of Trustees of the ACF to take up the position of Patron of the foundation. Amway China President Mr. Gan Chee Eng is the new Chairman of the ACF, while Ms. Eva Cheng has taken up the role of Honorary Chairlady.

Following these recent changes in the management of the foundation, the ACF will remain committed to its core principles - to help people live better lives and promote the development of society for the benefit of its children.
