Class Picnic
Last Friday our school went to Centennial Park for a
picnic
First our teachers marked the rolls and the we got on the
buses. On the buses, everyone was chatting and eating.
When we arrived at the park, some students played
cricket, some played cards but others went for a walk
with the teachers. t lunchtime, we sat together and had
our picnic. Finally, at two o!clock we left for school.
We had a great day.

hand movement are very important.
2he court dances are very formal in style. ancers keep
their faces without any epressions, and perform precise
gestures. +ome dances reflect the pomp and formality of
the court. +ome dances tell stories from the 4amayana,
the 5indu holy book.
$artial dances are generally performed only by men. 2hey
were originally war dances and in come the mendemonstrade their skill in using the weapons of battle,
such as spears.
+ome dances involve the use of elaborate masks. "t is
believed thet when a dancer wears a mask, he takes on the
character of the mask as though the spirit of the mask
takes over. 6ach island has different mask dances, and
different styles of masks.

)orobudur is 5indu 8 )udhist temple. "t was build in the
nineth century under +ailendra dynasty of ancient $ataram
kingdom. )orobudur is located in $agelang, Central :ava,
"ndonesia.
)orobudur is well8known all over the world. "ts
construction is influenced by the ;upta architecture of
"ndia. 2he temple is constructed on a hill /< m high and
consist of eight step like stone terrace. 2he first five
terrace are s9uare and surrounded by walls adorned with
)udist sculpture in bas8relief. 2he upper three are
circular. 6ach of them is with a circle of bell shape8stupa. 2he entire adifice is crowned by a large stupa at
the centre at the centre of the top circle. 2he way to
the summit etends through some /.= km of passage and
starways. 2he design of borobudur which symboli>es the
structure of universe influences temples at ngkor,
Cambodia.
