White Kaolin Clay Properties: Kaolin Clay is mild clay that can be used in many ways but primarily is used as a thickening agent and binder. It is a gentle cleanser for any skin type, extracting impurities and absorbing excess oils without causing inammation or redness. Bentonite is a natural clay that typically derives from volcanic ash. It consists mainly of silica, aluminum and other minerals including sodium, magnesium, calcium, ferric oxide, potassium etc. It is widely used as a texturizer, ller, thickener, and pigment binder. It is insoluble in water and also odorless. Fuller's Earth Multani Mitti Fuller's Earth is a natural clay which is popularly used in soap and skincare products due to its afnity to absorb oil. This cosmetic clay is most commonly used in facial masks to remove grease from oily or acne-prone skin. It helps draw out the oil and impurities from your skin, speeding up the healing process when it comes to zits. CalamineCalamine powder is a blend of calamine powder, zinc oxide, and a small amount of ferric oxide. It is amorphous, impalpable, odorless pink powder. It is used primarily in skin care preparations like lotions and creams to soothe itchy skin. Insoluble in water. Use: Use in Creams, lotions, soaps and is used as an anti-pruritic (anti-itching agent) to treat conditions such as sunburn, rashes etc. Applications: Incorporate into formula, amount as desired. Sodium Hydroxide FlakesOur Sodium Hydroxide, sometimes called lye, is food grade. It is commonly used to make high quality, handmade soap. Highest quality produced which makes top quality soap. Many People choose to use these flakes because they claim they produce less static!

Directions: Directions for use depend on application. Do not use at full strength. Always add Sodium Hydroxide to water. Use chemically resistant container and tools.

DO NOT ADD WATER TO SODIUM HYDROXIDE AS IT CAN CAUSE A VOLCANO EFFECT.

Potassium Hydroxide FlakesOur Potassium Hydroxide, sometimes called potash or lye, is food grade. It is commonly used to made high quality, handmade liquid soap. Texture is medium fine flakes.

Directions: Lye can be dangerous if it's not handled properly. Measure distilled water or other liquid into a separate container. Slowly pour the lye into the liquid, never the other way around, and stir until it's dissolved. Let cool and then pour into oils.
