Currently, Ho Chi Minh City is overpopulated and facing same issues as Tokyo did in the past. TOKYU Group would like to apply those knownledge and experience that we have to develop Binh Duong New City.

TOKYU GROUP achievement in Vietnam.

One of the most famous projects of TOKYU Group is TOKYU Garden City (Den-en-toshi) developed over 100 years since 1918. TOKYU Group has changed the area into ideal residential area. TOKYU Tama Garden City is one of the largest urban development project developed by private-sector in Japan, with the area of about 5,000 ha (5 times larger than Binh Duong New City) and

620,000 people live nowadays. The idea of TOKYU Garden City is to create a harmonious meeting of nature and city o�ering ideal lifestyle. It was a new urban plan for Japan at that time.

In the early 1900s, Central part of Tokyo was overcrowded and there were many issues such as shortage of houses, tra�c congestion and so on. Thus, demand for more comfortable living area have arisen.

TOKYU Group started to develop new residential district (Tokyu Garden City) at suburban of Tokyo where there had been a rural community with poor transportation.

After a few years, TOKYU Group constructed the railway which connects the city to centre of Tokyo with public transportation.

TOKYU Group also developed facilities such as schools, hospitals, shopping facilities nearby railway stations. The city became more comfortable for living. As a result, many people moved to the City and passenger of railway increased.

TOKYU Group developed more facilities by investing revenue from railway business. Finally, TOKYU Group created the virtuous circle: "the more TOKYU Group develop facilities, the more comfortable the City gets, the more population increase, the more TOKYU Group invests to the City."

TOKYU GROUP achivement in other countries.

TOKYU CONSTRUCTION constructed Nhat Tan bridge which connects Noi Bai international airport with the center of Ha Noi capital. This bridge reduces the time from the airport to the city centre to only 35 minutes. TOKYU CONSTRUCTION was entrusted this project with other Japanese contractors and contributed for improving the tra�c condition.

SORA gardens is the 1st �ag ship high-rise residential project of BECAMEX TOKYU in Binh Duong New City completed in 2015. There are around 600 residents from many countries over the world.

MIDORI PARK is comfortable residential area with full of green consists of condominium and low-rise residences. It is very easy and safe to raise children with green ratio of 56%.

KAZE SHUTTLE has been operated by BECAMEX TOKYU BUS since 2015 with 8 routes around Binh Duong Area so far. This safe, on-time, clean and ecology bus system became the �rst case brought from Japan to overseas country.

AUSTRALIA

TOKYU Group is engaged in a project in the coastal Yanchep district about 50km north of Perth, the capital of the state of Western Australia. Our two subsidiaries partnered with Australian company are engaged in housing development and urban development aimed at generating 55,000 employments. Especially the 1st joint venture project, "Capricorn Yanchep" was considered to be one of the best residential development in whole Australia.

THAILAND

In Sri Racha, SAHA Tokyu Corporation, a joint venture together with the Saha Group, one of the largest conglomer-ates in the kingdom of Thailand, developed rental housing "HarmoniQ Residence" mainly for Japanese expatriates and their families. HarmoniQ Residence Sriracha provide a truly Japanese-style living environment for every residents. In Bangkok, Siri TK One Company, a joint venture with Sansiri, one of the largest developers in the kingdom of Thailand, and SAHA Tokyu Corporation embarked on a condominium development project.

INDONESIA TOKYU Group also promotes residential development in Indonesia which has experienced remarkable growth in recent years. TOKYU Group established the local subsidiary PT. TOKYU LAND INDONESIA. It runs a condominium and detached housing business and a serviced apartment business since 1975.

NEW YORK

In the United States, TOKYU LAND US CORPORATION participating in a redevelopment project to construct 425 Park Avenue, a 47-�oor multipurpose building. This is the �rst full-block o�ce development on Manhattan's Park Avenue in nearly 50 years, located in the center of Manhattan, New York. This is also one of the most high-quality o�ce complex in the world. TOKYU LAND US CORPORATION is the only company from Japan taking part in this project.
