This Department has been dealing with proposals of various Ministries related toCreation/Revival/Corrtinuation of posts in their Attached/Subordinate/Autonomous bodies.

From time to time this Department has been issuing guidelines in this regard to make theprocess expeditious and lucid. Recently, this Department had issued instrucliorrs regardingcreatir:n/revival/continuation/trarrsfer cf posts vide O.M. dated 12.04.2011 .

2. Cabinet Secretary has been ernphasizirrg for a long time on the need to expediteimplementation of e-Offii:e across the Ministries/Departrnents of Government of lndia. e-Officeis one of the Mission Mode Projects under the Digital lndia Programrne. Use of e-Office in theofficial transactions helps in bringing transparency, accountability and expediticus decision

making. lt also provides additional advantaBes like realtime tracking,, speedy disposal, universalsearchability and retrieval of files.

3. Keeping in view the above mentioned advantages of e-Office, all theMinistries/Departments and organizations under their administrative control are requested toensure tlrat all proposal related to revival/continuation of posts may be sent to this Departmentthrough e-Office mode from ALOl.?.017. Proposals may be forwarded as per conditions laiddown in this Department's O.M. dated 12.04 .2017.
