Ziyarat of Imam Ali(as), Lady Fatima(sa)

The Holy Prophet (s) once delivered a speech to the community, saying:

O people, the month of Allah has come upon you with

blessings, mercy & forgiveness. This month is the most favourable month in the view of

Almighty Allah.

Its days are the best days. Its nights are the best nights. Its hours are the best hours. In this month, you have

been invited to the hospitality of Almighty Allah & you have been chosen to be within the people of Almighty

Allah’s honouring.

Your breaths in this month are (considered) glorification (of Almighty Allah). Your sleep in this

month is (considered) an act of worship. Your deeds are accepted in this month. Your prayers are responded

in this month.

You may thus pray Almighty Allah with sincere intentions and pure hearts that He will guide you to observing fasting (properly) & to reciting His book in

this month.

Verily, the true miserable is he whom is deprived of Almighty Allah’s forgiveness in this magnificent month.

Al-Fatiha for Molana Hadi Ali Khan

As you feel hunger & thirst, you should remember the hunger & thirst of resurrection day.

Give alms to the poor & the needy among you. Respect those who are older than you are. Have mercy upon those who are

younger than you. Esteem your ties with your relatives. Keep your tongues from

obscenity. Cast down your looks from all that which is unlawful for you & close your hearings against all that which is unlawful

for you.

Treat kindly the orphans among you so that your orphans will be treated kindly. Repent from your sins.

Raise your hands towards Him with supplications at the times of your prayers, for these times are the best hours at which

Almighty Allah looks at His servants with mercy-He will respond to their prayers, answer their calls, & receive their

supplications.

O people, truly your souls are dependent upon your deeds; therefore, try to free them by means of imploring for

forgiveness. Likewise, your backs are heavily burdened by your sins; therefore try to lighten the burdens on your backs by

means of long prostration.

Let it be known to you that Almighty Allah has sworn by His might that He shall not chastise the performers of prayers & those who prostrate before Him, that He shall not frighten

them with hellfire on that day when all humankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds.


Imam Ja`far as-Sadiq (a)-

O Jabir! Whoever during the

month of Ramadhan, fasts in

its days, stands up for prayers

in parts of the night, controls

his desires and emotions, puts a

rein on his tongue, keeps his

eyes down, & does not injure

the feelings of others, will

become as free of sins as the day

he was born.


Reflection

Your remedy is within you , but you do not sense it. Your sickness

is from you, but you do not perceive it. You presume you are a

small entity, but within you is enfolded the entire universe.

You are indeed the evident book, by whose alphabet the hidden

becomes the manifest.

Therefore, you have no need to look beyond yourself; what you

seek is within you, if only you reflect.

Allah, the Wise, has said:

“Do they not reflect within themselves: Allah did not create the heavens and the earth and what is

between them two but with truth, and (for) an appointed term?”

Imam ‘Ali (as) said:

Contemplation invites (man) towards good (deed) and its

performance.

19th, 21st & 23rd

General Acts:

• Ghusl before sunset.

• 2 rak`aat namaz; in each rak`ah after Sura Al-Hamd recite

Sura Ikhlas 7 times.

• After the namaz say 70 times:

استغفر هللا وأتوب إليك

It is reported in Hadith that whoever keeps awake on the nights of Qadr shall have his/her sins forgiven, even

if they equal the number of the stars in the heaven.

اللهم بحق هذا القرءان وبحق من ارسلته به

وبحق كل مؤمن مدحته فيه وبحقك عليهم

بسم هللا الرحمن الرحيم اللهم صل على محمد وال محمد اللهم إني اسئلك بكتابك المنزل

وما فيه وفيه اسمك األكبر واسمائك الحسنى وما يخاف ويرجى

I seek forgiveness of Allah, and I turn (repentant) to

O Allah, curse the ones who killed Ameerul Mu'mineen.

Lord!

On this day, make me among those who love Your

friends,& hate Your enemies, following the Sunnah of the

Seal of Your Prophets, O One Who protects the

prophets’ hearts!

Likewise, too many are the fasting ones who suffer

nothing but thirst. Likewise, too many are the worshippers

who suffer nothing but fatigue. How wonderful the sleeping and eating of the courteous

(by You), my sins forgiven, my deeds accepted, my defect in

it covered, O most hearing of those who

hear !

You are indeed the evident book, by whose alphabet

hidden becomes manifest. Therefore, you have not to look beyond yourself. What

you seek is within if only you reflect-

العسر إلى اليسر، واقبل

معاذيري، وحط عني الذنب

والوزر، يا رؤوفا بعباده

Lord! On this day, grant me in it the

honor of Laylatul-Qadr, change my affairs from

hardship to ease, accept my apologies, remove from the

sin and its burden, O One Who is affectionate

towards His righteous servants!

Nawafil (supererogatory) deeds in it abundant, honour me in it with the presence of

pleas, bring my means towards You closer from

among all means, O One Who is not distracted by the persistence of those

who persist!
