Every Nation School of Ministry, Europe2017 Prospectus 2

OverviewOne school, two programmes

WhyEurope remains a strategic mission field for God’s harvest, being home to many global top-100 universities. To plant Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered, socially responsible churches and campus ministries in the key educational, cultural, and business centres on this continent, we need high-capacity leaders. The Every Nation School of Ministry, Europe (ENSM) exists to equip leaders for effective ministry in Europe. Using a multi-platform approach including residentials, distance studying, local church ministry and expert/mentor input, we will offer a Core Curriculum with specialised ministry tracks. Built around the Every Nation Leadership 215 Curriculum, ENSM presents a clear pathway for those called to full-time ministry.

WhatWe offer two programmes at the ENSM: a Certificate Programme open to anyone with their senior pastor’s approval and actively involved in serving their local church, and an Audit Programme for those who are already in full-time ministry and who have been through one of our pastor/church-planter boot camps. Here are the highlights of the programmes:

Go and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15

BACKGROUND

Every Nation School of Ministry, Europe2017 Prospectus 3

The Certificate Programme is an eighteen-month comprehensive programme for equipping ministers of the gospel. Most of the course is completed at home through personal study and cohort-based video conversations whilst continuing your usual work or ministry. In addition, you will participate in two compulsory residentials. This Certificate Programme is for those called to both vocational and lay ministry and is a prerequisite for ordination in Every Nation Europe.

We have designed the programme to be built around specific outcomes for effective leadership:

First, there is a Core Curriculum of thirteen distance learning courses. This is completed by everyone through personal study. The material will be consolidated through a monthly video meeting with your web-based cohort and a course assignment.

Second, each student will enrol in a ministry track designed to facilitate growth in a specific area of ministry. This includes a quarterly track video meeting and supplemental reading. Finally, both the Core Curriculum and ministry tracks are enhanced through the two residential weeks with live teaching, group discussions, and personal reflection. All learning platforms are designed to be collaborative and participatory.

The following tracks for specialised training and equipping in a specific area of ministry are available to choose from:

Collaborative Learning

Cohort: Each month you will participate in a 90-minute cohort conversation around that month’s curriculum content and reading, hosted by an Every Nation leader. In addition to connecting with other students and growing with your fellow cohort members, these monthly conversations will help consolidate information and explore practical application in specific ministry contexts.

Ministry Track: Additionally, you will participate in a quarterly web meeting with your track. You will do a presentation, discuss key findings from your reading, and receive input from the track leader.

Practical Learning

Our focus is on developing leaders equipped for effective ministry with theological foundations and practical ministry skills.
