Day 1: Arrival Transfer & Welcome Dinner night

Arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. After immigration formalities, each guest obtains a

luggage cart and collects their luggage personally from the carousel. After collecting their luggage,

each guest will exit from the hall passing through customs.

At the exit point, Crown DMC staff members will meet guests and direct them to awaiting deluxe air-

conditioned transportation. An English-speaking guide will provide commentary en route, including an

overview of the visit and key points of interest.

M ON THE BUND

overlooks Shanghai’s most famous sight: the Bund. Here, diners sample a creative menu in a warm,

sophisticated space, where references to Shanghai’s glamorous past are updated and given a

contemporary spin. The roof terrace and stylish Crystal Room are also favorite spots to savor M’s

“simply good food,” whose flavors range from the comforting to the novel, from Europe to the

Middle East, but remain grounded in classical European techniques.

Day 2: Shanghai Classic Tour

OLD TOWN & YU GARDEN

The Old Town lies at the very center of the story of Shanghai, since this is the heart around which

modern Shanghai has grown. Intensely crowded and effervescent in spirit; it is perhaps the only

concentrated remnant of Shanghai’s native past that has survived into the modern age. Yu Garden lends

its name to the entire Old City area and offers a peaceful escape from the flux and flurry of the area

outside. It is the only complete example of an ancient Chinese garden in Shanghai.

JADE BUDDHA TEMPLE

The Jade Buddha, named after its two exquisite milk-white Jade Buddha statues brought back from

Burma in the 19th century, stands the northwest of the city downtown. Built in 1911, this temple with

its multiple courtyards and levels is still in active use with thousands of monks in attendance. Besides

seeing these two masterpieces of Buddhist art, it will also be fun to join the Buddhist worshipers by

lighting incense or binding a red ribbon to the wishing statues. You will then be blessed by the gods

from the Orient!

Day 2: Lunch at Green Ripple

CHINESE DIM SUM LUNCH AT GREEN RIPPLES RESTAURANT

Located in the famous Old Shanghai Town, the Green Ripple Restaurant features tasting

Shanghainese cuisine, Shanghai Dim Sum and wonderful Crab’ dishes. The Green Ripple Restaurant

had successfully entertained President Clinton, Queen Elisabeth and other famous persons. Here, you

can enjoy not only the typical traditional environment and delicious cuisine, but can also get the

outstanding experience of it.

Day 2: Afternoon Boat Visit Zhujiajiao Water Town

BOAT VISIT ZHUJIAJIAO WATER TOWN

Located in the outskirts of Shanghai, Zhujiajiao is a charming water town with rivers crossing the

village and hundreds of ancient buildings stand at the banks. It was founded almost 1700 years ago, and

became prosperous on the backs of its cloth and rice industry. There are still remains of historical sites

such as rice and oil stores, which offer a glimpse of life in the old days.

Today when you take the private 6 people shared wooden boat visit the old water town, the small little

streets all along the canal, many little shops and cafes with awesome views, it makes you forget where

are you.

Day 2: Dinner at TMSK

FUSION DINNER AT TMSK

TMSK is the acronym of Tou Ming Si Kao, four Chinese characters written in phonetic

alphabet, meaning roughly in English <Crystal Mind>. It reminisces and narrates the heart’s

rhythm that beats to China’s magnificent Tang Dynasty. It is a new venture, a new proposition

that helps penetrate into a different spheres of elegant fusion cuisine.

The lounge area has cosy Baroque booths to sit in and flowers floating in a water pool, while

'that's Shanghai!' reckon the glass bar looks like 'a 3D piece of contemporary art!' There are

dozens of great wines and cocktails on offer and can be drunk out of frosted martini and wine

glasses - all of different colours and sizes. A true gem, not to be missed.

Day 3: Side Car Tour

A JOURNEY BY SIDECAR

There is no better way to explore Pudong area than via the side car tour. Like discovering a

secret garden, visitors will transcend through time and be immersed in the architecture and

charm of this area. Discover Shanghai from a sideways look, seated in the side-car of a classic

motorbike.

Enjoy an incredible cruise through the city and avoid traffic jams. You will feel the pulse of this

fast changing city and take you from modern Shanghais futuristic look to the heart of the Bund.

Day 2: Lunch at Lost of Heaven

YUNNANESE LUNCH AT LOST HEAVEN

Lost Heaven Yunnan restaurant is a very rich style restaurant in Southeast Asia to do Yunnan

Cai with a very strong decoration style, mainly in red tones. There are many antique furniture,

accessories and more particularly, there is the Buddhist goddess Guanyin statue with local

characteristics Halloween mask and headdress.

Tableware light device is also very particular about the shape and style for thought. It is a three

floor restaurant, the first floor is bar, second floor is the restaurant.

Inside T8, all the décor is in keeping with the historic Asian structure – a large aquarium is filled

with fish which glide effortlessly through the waters signifying good feng shui. Beautiful Asian

antiques and Japanese paper lampshades add to the relaxing ambiance. The most popular place

to sit in T8 is by the carved dark wood screens. Diners can also enjoy watching the slick

operations in the open kitchen. Its Australian chef draws on his experience of cooking in multi-

cultural Australia with Chinese traditional cooking methods and ingredients. The results are

stunning dishes such as the T8 signature dish – succulent mutton, flavored with Sichuan spices,

wrapped in crispy layers of pastry.

Day 4: Bird’s Eye View Tour of Shanghai

SHANGHAI WORLD FINANCIAL CENTER

Located in the Pudong District of Shanghai, advancing China’s most rapidly developing city, the

Shanghai World Financial Center is a center for information as well as financial services. With 101

floors above ground level and soaring to a height of 492m, it is currently the 2nd tallest building in the

world after 101 Building in Taipei (508m).

SHANGHAI URBAN PLANNING EXHIBITION CENTRE

If you are awed by the incredible growth and immensity of the city of Shanghai then you should find

the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall an interesting place to learn more. It condenses the planning stages

of yesterday, today and tomorrow of Shanghai. Other features include historical photos of Shanghai

and smaller exhibits that focus on other areas of Shanghai such as the Suzhou Creek area, Pudong

Airport and the deep water port.

Day 4: Lunch at Ye Shanghai

CHINESE LUNCH AT YE SHANGHAI

The architecture of Ye Shanghai is a combination of modern and traditional style. You can find

traditional elements like fuscous wood, chocolate floor and beam there. The entrance uses

western hallway for reference. The glass sunshade the first floor. Delicate furnishing and

collection makes it back to 1930s and 1940s.

Situated just a leisurely stroll away from Fuxing Park lies this temple to Shanghai cuisine.

Flickering lights, warm interiors, live ’20s-Shanghai style jazz music and an old wooden door

make this a find for first dates or wining and dining visitors on xiaolongbao, mango pudding

and sweet and sour pork.

Day 4: Shopping Tour & Departure Transfer

SHANGHAI AT KNOCK-OFF MARKET

Conveniently located in the city centre, the Knock-off Market is Shanghai’s one-stop knock-

off fashion centre. Hundreds of stalls on this bustling 3-storeyed mall vie for the shopper’s

attention with their displays of brand-name purses, watches, clothing and accessories.

TIPS: Negotiating is de rigueur. One good rule of thumb is to start at one-third and end at

one-half of the original asking price. The final sum-which can range from RMB100 to

500(US$15.00 to US$80.00) will depend on a delicate combination of the seller’s disposition

and your bargaining skills.
