The odd juxtaposition of a Bird and Antlers begins to make sense when we understand that in sign language a Bird meant, the one that flies or flight. Horns and antlers indicated a leader.1 This was concept probably based on observation of herding animals where the most powerful male gains his leading position in the herd through battle. Ancient depicted sign language made use of this fact by using Form and Imagery of Horns and Antlers to signify leadership.

These glyphs have been translated beginning with the largest Form, Image or Sign down to the smallest. Because the glyphs are non linear one could probably begin reading them at any point. But it has been found that they seem to make the most sense when translated according to size..
