Howdoesthedepartmentensurethatprogrammeobjectivesareconstantlymetand learning outcomes are monitored? Continuous assessment of academic tasks, folios, application oriented assignments are done for each course to monitor the progress of students and making them aware of the weaker areas where they can put in more effort to improve their performance. Teacher evaluations are done by the higher authorities by visiting the ongoing lectures and monitoring the way teaching is conducted in the class. Quality of academic tasks, their evaluation, teaching material, etc. are critically evaluated and online feedback is given to the concerned faculties briefing the thrust areas where more inputs are required to enhance the qualityof teaching. Student’s feedback for each course, course instructor is recorded online though a centralized survey, in which students can give ratings and remarks foreach course instructor and quality of teaching. It is mandatory for the teachers to discuss the learning objective of each topic to start with a lecture, before discussing the details. This is being monitored through frequent class inspections.
