The THV 150 is the smallest twin-headed milling machine in the THV series. The main applications are in the medical and electronic brunches. Productivity and economic efficiency in the smallest possible space.
Easy machine operation thanks to FANUC CNC control, in which the operator can see all relevant data for machining on one screen. The operating staff does not need any special programming knowledge and is
guided through the dialog control.
The THV 150 clamps the material pneumatically.
4
The THV 460 is designed for high-quality machining of plates with dimensions up to 460 × 460 mm as well as a maximum height of 190 mm (option). Thanks to the very high quality of the surface finish, further machining is not necessary for most application cases.
Efficient design
■ Easily accessible material support ■ Easy loading by crane is possible ■ Easy to clean ■ Optimized chip removal
User-friendly operation
■ Easy operation via dialog control ■ It is only required to enter raw, finish dimension and material grade for the automatic production process
■ NC programming knowledge is not necessary

Easy tool change by tool holder
Thanks to the strong performance and the high torque, the THV 460 provides convincing cutting performance. Compared to the THV 430 (previous model), it was possible to reduce the cycle times even further. It was also possible to reduce the tool changing time up to 70%, the milling heads can now be changed quick and easy.

Innovative, patented material clamping
Material fixing is done by a hydraulic clamping system. Workpiece clamping and the corresponding material supports are easy to change. The workpiece clamper suited to the size of the material is displayed after entering the material data and checked for conformity at the clamp via indexing.

Especially for simple machining of plates and slabs
The THV 800 L is used for 4-side machining of plates and 2-side machining of up to 2,000 mm long slabs.Of course, all advantages of the THV series – such as easy operating and optimum material handling are also integrated in this model.
Due to the development of the L variant, it is possible for the customer to use just one machine to cover the product range both for precision plates and rod production.User-friendly setup of the machines is possible due to the automatic material stop system for both areas of use.

High angularity and parallelism due to double-head milling machine
Precision and size are not a contradiction, the THV 1200 allows profitable production of plates of up to 1,220 × 1,220 mm raw size. The swivel arm allows easy and convenient loading of heavy workpieces by crane.
Operating is done by a user-friendly CNC interface, which makes it possible for semi-skilled staff to operate the machine.

Due to the development of the L variant, it is possible for the customer to use just one machine to cover the product range both for precision plates and rod production.User-friendly setup of the machines is possible due to the automatic material stop system for both areas of use.
Rod material machining
When machining rod material up to a length of 3,000 mm, two additional tables are added as material supports. Four material clamps are used automatically.
As with plate machining, aligning of the rod material is done over a 1,080-mm long zero positioning plate that is automatically set to the actual size during setup of the machine.
The bridge for the upper material clamp can be adjusted electrically by a control panel. This makes setup of the machine as easy as possible.

Advantages of the PMH series
When smaller milling heads are used during conventional milling of plates, several milling runs are necessary. This can cause stepping and tension in the material. Solid experience of cutting and extensive programming is necessary for this machining.
Milling with the PMH series
A large number of plate sizes can be cut in only one transition thanks to the large milling heads of the PMH series with diameters between 200 and 525 mm. There are no transitions or stepping on the surface of the material.

■ Reduction of the chip volume in the disposal bin (1:5 cast iron chips, 1:50 steel chips)
■ Recycling of residual lubricant
■ Reduction of environmental pollution ■ Higher sales revenue from chips by making briquettes
■ Reduction of staff costs due to lower handling intensity
■ High melt yield when compared to single chipping
■ Positive decision for environmental audits
Sustainable management – material recovery via the chip press Chip volume comparison
The chip volume is considerably reduced depending on the chip shape and material. In the case of cast iron chips, a reduction in volume of approx. 1:5 is possible and with long turned chips from steel, a reduction of approx. 1:50 is possible.
