the same as detailed in the enclosed specifications. Welding of

pipeline should be to Radiography quality. 10% of the joints shall

be radiographed and the cost of the same will be paid separately

as per respective item etc. and as directed at site.

Note: a. Any repairs to the defective welding shall be made good

at no extra cost. Re radiography of repaired joint shall also be at

contractor's cost. b. Civil works for laying of UG pipeline laying will

be paid separately. c. Wrapping/Coating to be done as per

specification given below & detailed specification given in tender

document.

density 0.90 to 0.95 gms/cm3 and viscosity of 1000-2000

be paid separately. b. Wrapping/Coating to be done as per

specification given below & detailed specification given in tender

document.

mm dia medium duty MS ERW tube as per IS 1239 for exhaust line

of fire pumps including installing and erecting the supplied metalic

bellows and silencer; the exhaust pipe shall be adequately

supported in the fire pump house with suitable arrangements; the

entire exhaust pipe shall be lagged using 12 mm dia asbestos rope

The pipe to be used shall be of Mild steel Galvanised as per IS

:1239 ; Part-I (Annexure XI). Class / pressure rating - Heavy grade

for dia 150 mm and below and minimum 6.34 mm for pipes 200

and above (pipes as per IS 3589, Grade 410). Galvanising minimum

360 gm/sq.m. as per IS 4736 (Annexure XII). Rates include supply &

have a drain at the bottom most portions with valve. Riser &

tank is full. The maximum spac- ing between vents shall be 10 m (32

ft), based on an arc measured at the tank shell, but there shall not

be fewer than four equally-spaced vents. The venting shall be

within any 10 m (32 ft) interval is at least 0.2 m2 (2.0 ft2). These

vents shall be covered with a 3 mm corrosion-resistant aluminium

536 Conducting hydrotest of the nozzles/manholes replaced by

providing test arrangement as per given Drg no. WR/M&I/01. Scope

includes supply and welding of box arrangement as shown in the

sketch (either of the two options). In case option 2 is followed, the

box will have to be cut carefully without damaging the shell and

making area ground smooth after the test. Instead of square box,

circular box of suitable dia to cover the weld joint of nozzle to shell

will also suffice. The scope includes making arrangement of filling

water into the box, providing pressure gauge, hand pump, blind

stating the restraining techniques to be involved so that circularity

of the undamaged shell plates remains undisturbed, prior to

commencement of work and has to get it approved from IOCL.

Aluminium/Synthetic enamel finish paint of same shade as

found defective, rectification & testing will be done free of cost.

All safety precautions to be adhered during hot work. Scope

includes supply of all the materials, tools and tackles. Steel plates

used shall conform to IS 2062 (for manhole neck). Material

specification for nozzle neck shall be SA -106 Gr. B when size is

upto and including 250 mm. Neck of nozzle shall be fabricated

from plates of material specificaion IS:226/2062 when the size is

more than 250mm. Scope of work also includes supply of flanges,

making flange (of thickness 16mm) joints for shell manholes of 750

mm size from plates including supply of all the materials all
