Features:

Lauds Auto calibration units are state of the art. We monitor viscosity fluctuations and ensure the pumps are running at 99%

accuracy.

Effectively, the measuring tubes will measure out the VSD setting and with an ultrasonic level switch we measure the

displacement at the real time and if the displacement is more or less of the original set value, the VSD will automatically

adjust itself to bring the flow inline with percentage requirements.

Portable Mixers

• These mixers are utlised specifically where a speciality sand may

be needed for large applications and where a foundry would

typically use chromite or zircon facing in steel applications where

high temperatures come in contact immediately with the sand

surface.

• The mixer provides the flexibility to move your chromite or zircon

sand requirements directly to the moulding area instead of

moving the mould to the mixer.

• These mixers come with a detachable hopper that can be filled

with any combination of material, loaded on top of the mixer

and taken directly to the area required.

• This system is fully portable - meaning all controls, chemicals

and pumps are suitabed in the frame of the portable unit.

For fixed height and size boxes as set out below, the rotary moulding offers you a much higher throughput production for

Lauds Foundry Equipment GmbH’s Engineering Team use state of the art 3D design software to develop and improve our

equipment. Using the latest design software allows LFE to visualise the machinery before it is built. The software also makes

it possible to have insight to the stresses the machine can experience.

SECONDARY RECLAMATION

The L.S.R. unit comprises of two vibratory motors per set, each fixed onto a steel plate lined with ceramic material. The primary reclaimed sand is gravity fed into the L.S.R. unit with the aid of a calibrated gate valve. The sand enters between the ceramic plates which have a pneumatic actuator, at a set pressure, which maintains the grains of sand between the plates long enough to condition the sand against each other by vibration. The two opposing plates vibrate using sand on sand action to clean the resin off. The correct pressure ensures no damage is done to the sand but only allows the removal of additional resin.

Aggressive fluidization then allows for the resin to be extracted into the filter unit. The sand can then be taken back into the moulding process, by way of pneumatic transfer, with a minimum percentage virgin addition being required.
