PAST CIAP OFFICE BEARERS

Dear colleague in IAP,

Hope you are fighng the pandemic, living with the virus successfully, taking all precauons of personal protecon.

You might have come to know that Dr. Remesh Kumar R is a contestant for the post of Naonal President. I had the opportunity to work with him in in IAP for more than two decades. What I found most striking in him is his commitment to the job he engages, be it academic, administrave or organisaonal. Heading the administrave department of a mul speciality hospital, he proved his mele especially during the turbulent episodes of hospital violence.

In IAP Kerala, he bagged many firsts- serving as editor of Pediatric Companion for 5 years consecuvely, introducing the concept of regular family get togethers, sports events, geng maximum number of awards from CIAP etc.

He enjoys bringing IAPians together. Aer geng elected as HSG, working on a wider canvas, he shouldered responsibilies with equal ease and beer perfecon.

If elected to the Presidenal post, I am sure he will be an asset to the Academy.

I request my colleagues in IAP to support him by their valuable votes.

Happy Navarathri,

Kind regards

Dr. M. NarayananPresident, IAP Kerala

MESSAGE

Dear Senior Iapians and friends,

Hope you are all doing good. This year's Naonal IAP Elecon is on. One of the Presidenal Candidate Dr Remesh Kumar, I have been knowing and nocing since my associaon with IAP 22 years back.

He has been nurturing small branch by promong all youngsters and was working at grass root level. Now he's not associated with that branch as recently, he has shied to Cochin and taken over as HOD of a terary centre. But that small branch is one of the strongest one with lot of youngsters to make it strong for the next 2 decades.

His tenure as Secretary of state branch for 2 years was evenul with lot of awards at the naonal level. Also his ability to organise a confer-ence in the last minute has proved his organisaonal skills.

D r Re m e s h ' s a d m i n i s t ra ve capacity, we can see when he was the medical superintendent and also Consultant of a main hospital for 2 decades. Being the first elected HSG and during his tenure

has underlined his administrave capacity.

He's the person along with our Sachi Sir who brought out the concept of family meet a decade ago. This has been conducng without break by our state. His academic interest and knowledge has been shown when he was the Chief editor of our presgious magazine Pediatric Companion for co n n u o u s 5 ye a rs w i t h o u t financial commitment for the state.

I am sure with all his organisaonal capacity, academic brain and acquaintance with members at grass root level he's the ideal candidate for Naonal President Post if elected he will take IAP to greater heights. I request all my seniors and friends to vote for him.

Navarathri wishes to all, Stay safeJai Hind, Jai IAP
