ABSTRAK
Muhammad Helmi Fauzan 1604297 (2020). Hubungan antara Kematangan
Emosi dengan Konformitas serta Implikasinya bagi Layanan Bimbingan
Pribadi Sosial: Studi Korelasional terhadap Mahasiswa Angkatan 2017 FIP
Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Psikologi Pendidikan dan Bimbingan,
Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Mahasiswa sebagai individu dewasa awal akan memasuki masa penyesuaian terhadap
tuntutan dari lingkungan nya yang baru sehingga akan mengalami perubahan nilai.
Kematangan emosi pada mahasiswa dapat membantu mahasiswa agar dapat diterima di
lingkungan sosial nya yang baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara
kematangan emosi dengan konformitas pada mahasiswa angkatan 2017 FIP Universitas
Pendidikan Indonesia dan implikasinya bagi layanan bimbingan pribadi sosial. Peneliti
menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional dengan subjek 244 orang.
Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari Myers (2002) yang diadaptasi
oleh Fatresi (2017), skala kematangan emosi yang dibuat menggunakan aspek kematangan
emosi dari Scheneijder (1964). Semua skala tersebut kemudian disesuaikan oleh peneliti
dengan menyesuaikan dengan keadaan dari subjek. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran
instrumen berupa kuesioner yang diolah menggunakan uji Spearman’s Rank Order
Correlation dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,034 dan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,134.
Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan; (1) gambaran tingkat kematangan emosi mahasiswa
berada pada kategori cukup matang; (2) gambaran tingkat perilaku konformitas mahasiswa
berada pada kategori konformis; (3) terdapat hubungan lemah yang positif dan signifikan
antara kematangan emosi dan konformitas. dari penelitian, mahasiswa masih perlu untuk
meningkatkan kematangan emosi dan konformitas positif maka diperlukan layanan
bimbingan. Sebagai Implikasinya, penelitian ini menyusun layanan bimbingan pribadi sosial
berupa layanan bimbingan kelompok dan bimbingan klasikal.

Maturity and Conformity and its Implications for Personal Social Guidance:
Correlational Study of FIP Academic Year 2017 Students at the Indonesian
University of Education, Educational Psychology and Guidance, Faculty of
Education, Indonesian University of Education.
College Students as early adult individuals will enter a period of adjustment to the demands
of their new environment so that they will experience changes in grades. Emotional maturity
in students can help students to be accepted in their new social environment. This study aims
to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and conformity in the 2017 FIP
force students of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and its implications for social personal
guidance services. Researchers used a quantitative approach with a correlational method
with 244 subjects. The instrument used in this study was taken from Myers (2002) which was
adapted by Fatresi (2017), the emotional maturity scale created using the aspects of
emotional maturity from Scheneijder (1964). All scales are then adjusted by the researcher
by adjusting the circumstances of the subject. Data obtained through the distribution of
instruments in the form of questionnaires were processed using the Spearman's Rank Order
Correlation test with significancy 0.034 and correlation coefficient 0.134. The results of the
study show; (1) a description of the level of emotional maturity of students is in the quite
mature category; (2) the level of conformity behavior of students is in the conformist
category; (3) there is a weak positive and significant relationship between emotional
maturity and conformity. From the results of the study, college students still need to increase
emotional maturity and positive conformity so guidance services are needed. This research
formulated a personal social guidance program in the form of a group guidance service that
was prepared based on the results of the study. As the implication, this research compiles a
social personal guidance service in the form of a group guidance service.
