We are providing an opportunity for all young people to gain access to one to one professional mentoring to support them in evolving their ideas. The top finalists will share a £10,000 investment fund to go straight into growing their business. Nominations are now open and close on the 29th June. Once nominations have closed, a public vote will be open from 1st July to 15th July. The finalists with the highest number of votes and nominations from the judges, will secure 6 months of professional mentoring and will be invited to an event to pitch for their chance to win a share of the £10,000 investment fund. The Side Hustle Initiative is a nationwide search for all 14-18-year-olds who either are already delivering a side hustle or who have an amazing business idea that they are passionate about launching. Taste of University 2021 University of Chester

Taste of University is a FREE event for students who are considering university. Please share the details with your students and colleagues who can pass the information on.

This online event is designed for Year 12 and first-year vocational college students who are considering university, but would like to know more about the options and pathways available to them. The event will take place across Tuesday 6th, Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th July, and will be delivered on Microsoft Teams. Attendees will have the opportunity to increase their knowledge of every aspect of the university decision-making and application process , and higher education itself. Year 13 and second-year vocational students are also welcome to attend.

The programme will run as follows with specific session timetable and links sent to those who register.

Day 1 - An introduction to all things university, the experience, learning skills, meeting lecturers and students from chosen subject area and exploring the pathways and careers available.

Day 2 – An in-depth university learning experience, with three subject sessions that will introduce the different aspects of chosen subject areas. There will also be sessions on student life and support available at university.

Day 3 - Information and resources to support decision-making and university applications.

We are reaching out in order to find 1-2 outstanding A Level students who are receiving their grades this summer. Since establishing in 2018 we have grown successfully developing R2R London and R2R NYC. We are currently a team of 18 and have plans to be 25 entering 2022. We are now looking for an outstanding A-Level student to join the team as an Apprentice.

The apprenticeship itself would be a Level 3 Business Administrative Apprenticeship with a salary of £850 PCM plus up to £5,000 P.A in bonuses. Following successful completion, the candidate would have a clear long term progressive route with R2R Global progressing through to our researcher program after completing the one year apprenticeship. This begins on a basic of £20,000 (plus commission).

We are looking for grade A students who have completed A-Levels, have the option to go to university but want to kickstart there career jumping straight into the working world. We are looking for an individual with natural enthusiasm, confidence and the desire to succeed!
