Disagreement and Reconfiguration
Politics is a matter of subjectification...the production through a series of actions of a body and a capacity for enunciation not previously identifiable within a given field of experience, whose identification is thus a reconfiguration of that field of experience.
La Mesentente (Rancière, 1995: 35)
“Art is art insofar as it is non-art, or something else other than art...
“There is a contradiction that is originary and unceasingly at work.”
Malaise dans l'esthétique (Rancière, 2004: 36)
A Political Uncanny: the domestic space
