Science & Engineering The Department of Computer

Science and Engineering was

formed in the year 2010.The

department has started B.Tech

Program with an initial intake of

60 in the year 2019 and increased

to 120 in the year 2012 and 180

from 2019 onwards. The

department has also started

M.Tech program with an initial

intake of 18 in the year 2012.

The department is accredited

by NBA in the year 2018 for a

period of 3 years. The department

has 26 qualified teaching staff with

4 PhDs and 22 M.Techs. Our

faculty members aim at delivering

top class education blending their

rich research experience with class

room teaching. The entire faculty

is involved in research activities

and has published/presented 183

papers in national and

international journals and

conferences. The department has

KHIT ACM student chapter and

CSI student chapter. The

department offers various

certification training programs to

students like APSSDC Mobile App

Development Program, IOT to

make the students well prepared to

face the industry. The department

has also established Research and

Development Lab/ Project Lab

ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF CSE

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the

year 2010. The department has started B.Tech. Program with an initial intake

of 60 in the year 2010 and increased to 120 in the year 2012, The department

has also started M.Tech. Program with an initial intake of 18 in the year 2012.

The department was accredited by NBA in the year 2018.

The Department has excellent infra-structural facilities with well equipped

laboratories providing good teaching learning environment. The department

has ACM and CSI student chapters and number of events are being organized

in association with these chapters. The department offers various training

programs to students and faculty in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh State

Skill Development Corporation. The Institute is recognized as a local chapter

for organizing NPTEL certification courses and number of students and faculty

have been certified in various courses. The department has entered into MOUs

with various IT industries and students are attending internships through

these industries.

The department organizes various training programs related to Technical skills,

Personality development and Soft skills to enhance employability skills that

lead to good number of placements in Multi National Companies. Our

department has an excellent placement record in various multinational

companies with good salary packages.

The faculty members are actively involved in research activities and

published/presented papers in National/ International journals and

Conferences.

Vision

Imparting quality technical education to learners in the field of Computer Science and Engineering to produce technically competent software

personnel with advanced skills, knowledge and behavior to meet the computational global real time challenges.

Program Education Objectives (PEO's)

PEO 1 Graduates shall effectively apply their engineering knowledge

to analyze, design and develop software for contemporary problems.

PEO 2 Graduates utilize the knowledge of theoretical computer science to adept emerging technologies and tools for changing needs of industry.

PEO 3 Graduates shall exhibit social, ethical responsibilities and effective communication skills.

PEO 4 Graduates shall be able to get employed in software industry, pursue higher studies or become entrepreneurs.

PEO 5 Graduates shall be able to develop focus on research in the field of computer science & engineering to meet the industry

PO 1 Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering

specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
