Titah Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa‘adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam dalam Majlis Konvokesyen 2015 Institut Teknologi Brunei pada 31 Oktober 2015

Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

Alhamdulillah Rabbil ‘Alameen, Wabihiee Nasta’eenu ‘Alaa Umuuriddunya Wadden, Wassalaatu’ Wassalaamu ‘Ala Asyarafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina Muhammaddin, Wa’alaa Aalihee Wasahbihee Ajma’een, Waba’du.

Sekian, Wabillahit Taufeq Walhidayah, Wassalamu ‘Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

The ISLE Garden is a green technology garden with the name abbreviated from `Intellectually Stimulating Learning Environment’.

The creation of an intellectually stimulating learning environment is an intiative towards realising one of the ambitions in the University’s Strategic Plan, that is to achieve a ‘Vibrant Campus’. The Garden consists of three main areas: Evolution of the ISLE Garden, Green Initiative, and the Inventors’ Platform. Evolution of the ISLE Garden section gives visitors an overview of the development phases of the Garden.

The Green Initiative Section contains various trees, plants and herbs that may also be used as a test-bed for relevant student projects. Meanwhile, the Inventors’ Platform is a place where students can discuss and develop ideas, as well as display creative and innovative projects or activities. In addition to creating a place that is conducive to intellectual thinking, the Garden is also developed to enhance the environmental and aesthetic quality of the campus.
