Atthe time of her build there were no larger pedigree “Yacht Fisherman” on the water. While themarket has dictated newer larger and faster Sportfisherman none have the class, grace or qualityof a Feadship. Largely in fact to her original design only systems have been upgraded. Heroriginal Feadship features remain. Your chance to “own an icon.”

In September 2015, AMIkids accepted the contribution of “Patriot”. Dudley Savage (AMIkids) and Michael Rafferty (Camper & Nicholsons) facilitated the donation.

Her contribution to AMIkids helped solidify the modern highly-valuable, highly-marketable vessel profile the Yacht Donation Program is known for today. Patriot was the first of two yachts built in a series of eight Feadship Gallant Ladies for the same owner. The twin 87’ Sport Fishermans (Hulls 629 and 630) were constructed in aluminum. The Galant Lady design created by De Voogt Naval Architects was inspired in the Rybovich Sports Fisherman. It retained the harmony of the lines and the relative height but was 35% larger. At the time their builds, there were no other ‘large’ pedigree Sports Fisherman yachts on the

water. These feadships pioneered in that category.

The third (1985 - #631) and fourth (1988 - #637) Gallant Ladies were larger displacement hulls. A fifth hull (638) replaced the two fishing vessels in 1988 but at some 35.35m, the new yacht represented a significant departure from the previous design.

All Gallant Ladies after that (1992, 1996, and 2007) continued to evolve into larger mega-yacht builds. Hull 629 changed hands and names several times. In her 2005 - 2007 refit, she was gutted entirely down to the bare hull and frames. Patriot was born.

Her house and flybridge were removed and redesigned. Every piece of equipment and machinery replaced with a completely new engine room. The custom interior woodwork was rebuilt with the concept of “transforming” spaces.

State-of-the-art technology went into the design and reconstruction efforts to create a soundproof hull unmatched in most yachts, with gyro zero speed stabilization and trim tab technology. The extensive refit and open-checkbook upgrades to Patriot rendered her as the ideal candidate for yacht donation.

In June 2020, AMIkids accepted the second Galant Lady (Hull 630, now Comanche), this time through Roger Herd (AMIkids) and Jeff Stanley (Gilman Yachts of Fort Lauderdale). Unlike Patriot, her original Feadship features and design remain intact, and only systems have been upgraded.

Comanche is a time capsule. Her Cockpit is immense, and a large Salon offers ample seating space. Fine joinery discretely masks the Galley.

Centerline steps lead to the four en-suite staterooms below. All the way forward, the Master Cabin features a centerline king berth, small settee, and an enormous head and shower.

Access to the enclosed Pilothouse is via a ten-step ladder from the Cockpit. There is an abundance of seating plus an observation deck with two swivel fish chairs and a control station for fishing. Comanche allows for a fantastic opportunity to own an icon at a very competitive price, while allowing the ability to enjoy a timely refit with personalized custom features and upgrades.Patriot, just prior to donation to AMIkids.

Experiential Education Experiential Education has been at the core of AMIkids programming from the beginning. The organization started as a conglomerate of “Associated Marine Institutes (AMI)” and focused heavily on marine, experiential and vocational education. Experiential education helps youth form a stronger bond with caregivers. Those bonds help caregivers motivate them towards academic and behavioral gains.

The Galley is to port forward and discretelymasked by the fine joinery. To starboard is additional concealed freezer space. Centerline stepslead to the four cabins below. All four cabins are en suite: First to port is a twin lower bunk cabinwith oversize berths. Opposite to starboard is an over under cabin with two outboard berths.Next forward is the Companionway Laundry Center with an updated Whirlpool washer andseparate dryer.

Opposite to starboard is the Fourth Cabin used for the crew with upper and lower berthsoutboard.

All the way forward is the Master Cabin with a centerline king berth, small settee and a very largehead and shower not usually found on yachts of this size, let alone a Convertible Sportfisherman.

The enclosed Pilothouse is accessed via a ten step ladder from the Cockpit. There is an abundanceof seating plus there is an observation deck aft with two swivel fish chairs as well as an aft controlstation for fishing.

Salon

The Salon is entered via a centerline counter balanced door. The first impression is of a hugeopen one level area that stretches 26 feet forward to the three panel windshield forward. Thisarea includes the Galley which blends into the Salon and is unobtrusive as a Galley can be!

Large fixed side windows allow huge amounts of natural light. Electric light filtering Roman shadesprovide some privacy, full black out shades port and starboard and aft provide full privacy.

Immediately to starboard upon entering is a large U shaped leather settee to seat six people. Theforward corner has a built in end table with a decorative wood table lamp above. In front of thesofa is a high low cocktail/dining table with two hinged leaves at the ends.

To port aft are two oversize built in upholstered chairs separated by a built in end table. Just aft ofthe table is the Salon’s entertainment electronics to include a Yamaha AV receiver with Blue Toothconnectivity, six channel Surround Sound, a Direct TV HD DVR, receiver, an Audiovox DVD playerand two USB charger outlets for phones/iPads.

Next forward is a bar area with a lit liquor locker, a Whirlpool Wet-Ice icemaker and glass storagefor wine, champagne, hi ball and cocktail glasses. All of these elements are hidden and blendedinto the cabinetry.

Facing the couch is a newer Samsung 46” LED TV that can be hidden behind tambour doors asdesired.

Overhead in the Salon Galley area is rod storage for up to 25 rods. Also overhead in this area are14 LED lights, a smoke and fire sensor plus five Bose mini cube speakers.

The sole is carpeted with a recent neutral tone plush carpet.

This area is welllit, encompasses the bow thruster tube and hydraulic pump as well as the forward tank tops. Alsoin this area is a safe.

Spend a few minutes in this area and you will start to see how stout this yacht was built, whatpiping in lieu of rubber hoses looks like and above all the fact that the original quality is still veryevident even in areas not usually visited by an owner.

Portside Guest Cabin

Entered from the aft end, looking forward are twin oversize 34” wide lower berths with a threedoor nightstand between.

The upholstered headboards are set upon three mirrored panels with a sconce style reading lightabove each berth. The upholstered headboards wrap around the outboard side of each berth.

August 30, 2018 Bottom Inspection

In an effort to remove one possible impediment to a sale, COMANCHE was hauled for a bottominspection/ultrasound. A “Defelsko” ultrasonic thickness gauge was used to test over 572 differentcarefully graphed stations in the underwater hull area by a noted local surveyor.

In addition the props were pulled, Prop Speed added, shaft run out measured at the taper “inplace”, all four strut bearings measured.

Results:1) No apparent wastage or pitting the aluminum2) Antifouling in good condition3) Epoxy barrier coat was adhering well to the hull plating4) Shaft run out tolerance less than .0035) Bearing tolerance less than .020

Notes

During 2005 COMANCHE received a complete Engine Room redesign and refit. Work included newengines, transmissions, generator, exhaust systems, pumps, HVAC systems and much more! Atthat time many of the boat’s electronic systems (AV and navigation) were updated as well.

Remarks

Sold by the listing broker to the current owners 24 years ago, COMANCHE remains an icon inyachting circles. She was built as the second of two GALLANT LADY Feadship Sportfisherman.

Exclusions

While every effort was made to list all pertinent included equipment aboard COMANCHE, there aresome personal belongings aboard. Prospective purchasers should assume any item notspecifically mentioned herein will not convey at closing.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why would anyone donate a yacht?• Provides the yacht donor a reasonable income tax deduction; • Furthers the donor’s philanthropic goals by helping their community; and • Conveniently provides the donor with immediate relief from dockage, maintenance and other costs

and worries of owning the yacht.

What are the general benefits of Yacht Donation?Yacht Donations benefit the entire yachting industry and our community. Donors obtain a tax deduction and a convenient and efficient alternative to sale. Yacht brokers have another tool in their business, and new yachtsmen have access to yachts under a lease, requiring less initial investment.

Can Yacht Donation be an alternative to trading?Short answer is yes, but the donor receives an income tax deduction instead of a credit toward the purchase of a new yacht.

Will AMIkids accept any yacht? The AMIkids Yacht Donation Program is not a one-size fits all.

We work with a very specific market segment of highly valuable, highly marketable yachts.

Each potential donation receives a thorough assessment by our experienced facilitators based on our 50 years of institutional experience. Our facilitators will make recommendations.

APPRAISALA qualified appraiser selected by you will determine the yacht value. We cannot be involved in the selection of the appraiser or the determination of the yacht value.

SURVEY We will obtain a separate survey of the yacht to determine if we are willing to accept it as a donation and certify that we will make investments.

CLOSINGIf we agree to accept the contribution, we will work with you to document the process and complete the necessary paper work (deeds of gift, IRS Forms 8283 and 1098-C).

IMPROVEMENTS We will invest in improving the yacht.

LEASE We will market the yacht for lease through reputable channels.

How does the Donation Process works? If we agree to accept a contribution and to invest in improving the vessel, the donation process involves five simple steps:

If we accept a contribution with a requirement that the yacht be sold, then the same steps will be required except that we will not certify that we will make improvements and market the yacht for sale through reputable channels immediately after the donation.

Why choose AMIkids instead of another organization?AMIkids: • Has a 50-year record with over 6,000 donations and is highly respected within the yacht industry; • Is a national leader in the rehabilitation of at-risk kids; • Has an experienced in-house team to manage the donation process; • Is respected by the yacht brokerage community; and • Efficiently manages the donation process with its experienced staff.

How does AMIkids lease agreement work?AMIkids uses a ‘Standard Lease with Option to Purchase.’ The lease term is three years, and we hold title to the yacht during the lease term. The lessee has an option to purchase the yacht at the end of the lease term. If the lessee exercises this option, we transfer the yacht to the lessee at the end of the lease term.

At the signing of the lease agreement, the lessee pays an initial amount of 35% of the total payments to be made under the lease. There are three components to the initial payment: a Short Term Lease Payment, an Option Fee and a Security Deposit.

During the lease term, the lessee makes make monthly lease payments of 1% of the total payments to be made under the lease. This will total 36% by the end of the lease term (1% per month for 36 months). If the lessee exercises the option to purchase the yacht, then the purchase price at the end of the term is 29% of the total payments to be made under the lease.

At any time during the agreement, the lessee can terminate the lease by returning the yacht to us.

Keeping the Integrity of the Donation ProcessOur donation process is managed with transparency and integrity and includes the following:

1. Accountability: The Donation Team reports directly to the CEO. Our CEO’s primary concern is the organization’s mission of helping at-risk youth. Yacht donations are the biggest component in our charitable contribution revenues and the second biggest source of revenue. We strive to comply with all of the federal and state laws that apply to the Yacht Donation Program.

2. Internal and External Audit: AMIkids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with federal and state contracts. The Yacht Donation Program is audited annually by internal and external auditors who report directly to the Board of Directors of AMIkids.

3. High Stakes: The Yacht Donation revenue is vital to our ability to serve our kids. We strive to comply with all federal and state laws, including the IRS rules that govern yacht donations.

4. Donor’s Deduction: Generally, if a charity sells a donated yacht, the donor’s deduction is limited to the amount the charity receives from the sale and the deduction cannot be taken until the sale occurs. However, a donor can deduct the fair market value of the donated yacht as of the date of the donation if the charity certifies that it intends to make certain material improvements and retain the vessel for a determined period of time.

5. Efficient Material Improvements: Material improvements are made directly by our staff and a well-established network of reputable job-specific contractors.

6. Our Lease Program: Generally, we lease the donated yacht to a new yachtsman for a period of three years. We have been operating this lease program for 50 years and have found that it provides a level cash flow to our organization and is an attractive option to the new yachtsman because it requires less out of pocket cash than a sale would require.

7. Our team: AMIkids has an experienced team of facilitators and yacht specialists available to assist each donor. We collaborate with yacht brokers, accountants and tax professionals. Our Project Manager directly oversees all material improvements. Our Director of Business Administration closely monitors compliance with IRS reporting guidelines.

How does my donation help at-risk youth?AMIkids is dedicated to rehabilitating at-risk kids through education, training, counseling, discipline and productive work. We often use marine, wilderness and other environmental education and rehabilitation programs to accomplish this goal. All profits from yacht donations support these efforts.
