Education within Ministry of Education in Government of India on 7th May 2021.

Program: CORONA VIRUS AWARENESS

Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology, coimbatore and Directorate of Technical

Education Government of India Tamilnadu have jointly organized CORONA Virus Awareness

program successfully on 1010212020 atNIET Campus. In this program nearly 100 students and

faculty members get awareness about CORONA Virus. By conducting this program students get

awareness and knows the best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to this virus.

.i. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

* Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

.|. Stay home when you are sick.

* Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

i. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household

cleaning spray or wipe.

* Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going

to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

* If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least

60%o alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
