Route to be signed off by Opco Airtel & NSN MS Team , Route to cover 90% to 100% of the CellsNum. of Operators to be benchmarked should be agreed and SignedPhone to be locked in the 2G mode in all the three Cases mentioned below

Three different test are purposed for 2G benchmarking statistics collection.

1- Idle testing for coverage

2- Hybrid short call sequence for testing accessibility (CSSR ) / Retainability ( CDR ) and HOSR

3- Data dedicated call for testing throughputs and EDGE service availability

Coverage Benchmarking - one UE on idle mode for RSCP measurements ( Locked to 3G )

2. Voice Testing• Short Call (Only for Nairobi and Malawi) With

1 UE’s per operator locked to 3G { Voice is not kept on 3G }

• Short Call ( All other places except for Nairobi and Malawi) With 1 UE per operator in dual mode(2G/3G)

3. Mobility Data session testing for Ping, FTP UL, FTP DL, HTTP and email- using 1 Modem/operator .

4. Stationary Data hotspot testing: stationary test on FTP DL only – Using Modem .

After every application test, There will be 10 sec Idle time before the next Application is tested.Common server for FTP Uplink and Downlink tests to be decided between the OPCO team based on the latency for all the operators and to be signed before the start of the Benchmark Setup up of a test email accounts on Airtel mail server should be done
