SUMMARY

To follow-up on the encouraging results of the prospecting work did in the past by Freewest Resources Canada inc., a Beep Mat survey was run by Ex-ln on the Sungold property. Most of the EM targets in the area had never been yet investigated, and our prospecting attempted to locate and sample as many anomalies as possible in one month.

LOCALISATION AND ACCESS

The property is located approximately 120 kilometres West of Thunder Bay in the Powell Lake Area in Northwestern Ontario.

The property is accessible by a logging road known as the Swamp Road that proceeds south from Highway 11, about 16 kilometres West of Kashabowie. From that point, one then proceeds South on the Swamp road for a distance of 21 km, then turns left on the Nelson Lake road for a distance of 12 km to reach the survey area (Figures 1).

PROPERTY AND CLAIMS

Freewest Resources Canada lnc. detains 100% of the mining rights to a solid bloc of 29 claims in the Powell Lake area (Figure 2). The claims are numbered TB 3001032 to TB 3001043, TB 3001629 to TB 3001643, TB 1231763 and TB 1173953.

The claim numbered TB 1218541 is detained at 50% by James Christopher Kulp, 45% by Louise Lynn Sutyor and 5% by Arthur Frank Sutyor. It lies in the middle of the Sungold Property.

The claims status is shown on appendix 4 (claim holder, work required, recorded date, etc).

EXPLORATION HISTORY

A trapper discovered gold on the Kerry Gold Mines Limited Property, in 1871.ln 1882, a I-ton sample was shipped to New York to be tested. The sample yielded 1.75 ounces of gold and 12.98 ounces of silverI. Since then, several companies acquired the property like the Ardeen Gold Mines Limited that developed the Kerry Gold Mine in 1933 (29,948 Oz Au and 172,376 Oz Ag between 1932 and 1936) or Noranda Mines Limited in 1957 that tested five conductive zones with drill holes. «All the conductors tested by drilling were found to be caused by graphitic schist's containing pyrite and pyrrhotite»2.

«In 1957, Cominco Limited explored chalcopyrite mineralization in medium-grained grey dacite porphyry at the west end of Red fox Lake»3.

«In 1964, the Mining Corporation of Canada Limited put down 3 holes to test an electromagnetic anomaly on the south shore of Wye Lake. The electromagnetic anomaly is caused by zones of graphitic tuff that contain a minor amount of pyrite. The graphitic tuff is associated with rhyolite»4.

GEOLOGY

«All bedrock in the map-area is of Precambrian age. An Archean metavolcanic belt extends through the area and is continuous with the metavolcanic belt at Burchell Lake, 4 miles to the northeast. The oldest rocks in the area are metasediments and metavolcanics, which are intruded by mafic rocks. The youngest rocks are a few small diabase and lamprophyres dikes»5.

As it is mentioned in the geological report of the Moss Lake Area by F.R.Harris, « gold is found in quartz veins or associated with pyrite in shear zones. In quartz veins, the gold is in the native state, or as gold and silver tellurides, as found at Kerry Gold Mines Limited in highly sheared mafic metavolcanics that are associated with dikes of dacite porphyry»6.

After digging some of the EM anomalies the crew discovered that some of them were caused by conductive clays, often near the shore of lakes.

PERSONNEL AND WORK PERFORMED

Richard Weenusk, Norbert Weenusk and Daron Slavey assisted for some of the duration of the project by Frederic Gaucher did the fieldwork. The prospecting lasted from February 10th to March 9th

, 2005. The crew discovered 18 bedrock anomalies then, drilled them with a gasoline percussion drill, blasted with dynamite and sampled. Among them, seventeen are conductors and one is highly magnetic. Frederic Gaucher brought all the equipment necessary and started the project with the crew. He left on February 14th and came back on March 10th to bring back the equipment and the explosives to Quebec City. Deron Slavey joined the crew on February 14 and left on March 9th

• His knowledge of the trails within the property was especially appreciated.

The crew often collected several samples from a showing as the rocks differed a lot from each other. Thirty-eight samples have already been sent to the Accurassay Laboratories to be assayed for gold, and four remain to be sent. Assays for zinc, copper and 36 elements plus sulphur are forthcoming. No significant gold values are reported.

The description of the sites sampled and a detailed report of activities as well as the personnel field notes of Daron Slavey can be consulted on appendix 1 and 3. One may also look at the assay certificates on appendix 2 showing the gold assays. Finally, a compilation map showing areas prospected on the Sungold Property, samples collected, claims boundary, topography, EM anomalies and overburden depth can be found in pocket at the end of this report.

CONCLUSION AN D RECOMMENDATIONS

III 28 days of fieldwork, the crew composed of Richard Weenusk, Norbert Weenusk, Frederic Gaucher and Daron Slavey collected forty-two samples from hidden outcrops, out of which forty-one were conductors. The area has evidently a high potential as several companies acquired the surrounding area for exploration work. Numerous other EM targets never yet sampled remain to be tested by a Beep Mat survey.

As 18 conductors never yet tested before were sampled in less than one month of prospecting, we recommend to continue the Beep Mat prospecting for at least another month after the break up.

Daily report of activities

February 2, 3, 4 and 5, 2005 Richard Weenusk contact Edwin and Frederick Gaucher about the project and made plans where they will meet in Thunder Bay.

February 6 Frederic Gaucher (FG) prepares all the equipment, maps, and gets the skidoo from the Mont-Sainte-Anne.

February 7 FG drives from Quebec to Val d'Or Richard Weenusk drives to Winnipeg to pay Norbert Weenusk's plane fare to Winnipeg.

February 8 FG drives from Val d'Or to Longlac. Richard Weenusk (RW) takes the bus from Brandon and Norbert Weenusk from Oxford house (NW) to Thunder Bay.

February 9 FG drive from Longlac to Thunder Bay. There, he meets Richard and Norbert Weenusk. They meet Donald Hoy in Freewest Office and then buy food, oil and gaz for one week.

February 10

RW, NW, FG and Dave drive from Thunder Bay to Kashabowie. They prepare the equipment and Dave show the team where is the Swamp Road up to the bridge. RW, NB and FG prospect during the afternoon but find no conductor.

February 11 FG, RW and NW prospect an area where they are 3 conductors indicated on the map. After a few hours, they find a conductor. They dig and find that the conductor was caused by clay. High frequency is around 6-10 and is uniform on 5x5 meters. This clay conductor is localized on GPS coordinates Nad 27: 15U 659 730 E, 5367676 N. They go back to skidoo and go prospecting another area near the principal road where there is a hill. They find nothing.

February 12 FG, RW and NW prospect a hill. After 5 hours of prospecting, they find a conductor on the North face of the hill localized 659 960 E, 5 366 963 N. They dig but don't get to the rock because the conductor is deep. They continue to prospect and find what looks like the prolongation of the conductor on the same horizon North-South (659 984 E, 5 367 017 N). While leaving the area, they find another conductor, about 60 meters East from the first one discovered. As the sun goes down, they decide to come back the next day to blast all the sites discovered.

February 13 FG, RW and NW dig the site discovered on 659 960, 5366963 but did not blast it because it only beeps to 200=Hfr after having dig out 2 m. They dig the other site

discovered 60 IT! East at Coord GPS: 659980, 5366945. It beeps to 4000:=Hfr on the roc. Po is present They also blast an other site on 659 979, 5367019, only beeping to 174=Hfr. They dig another site and prepare it to be ready for blasting. They also prospect the surrounding area.

February 14, 2005 Monday

FG, RW and NW decided to prospect toward the far end of the project, but they were unable to cross the small creek. They decided to prospect around the area close to the creek. They djg the two sites discovered on 659 632,5366422 and 659630, 5366 368 , but did not blast because we were pressured for time, as RW have to drive FG to Thunder Bay. After getting back to the camp, there was a message for us to go to meet Daron Slaney at FreeWest Resources office. RW, NW and DS went shopping for food.

February 15, 2005 Tuesday RW, NW and Darren went to the far end and broke the trail and ran into a few problems, but it was productive, as DS know his way around the area. They prospect around Jhe area, but did not find any conductors. RW and DS went through the maps of the area and decided to do the far end before the weather gets too warm.

February 16, 2005 Wednesday RW, NW and DS went prospecting and found two (2) conductors on the west face of the hill localized 655 259, 5 364 010 and 665 261, 5 363 969. After lunch break both RW and OS decided it was best that OS would get the spare beep mats, which Edwin Gaucher had sent to Free West Resources office. RW and NW continued to prospect but did not find any conductors.

February 17, 2005 RW. NW and OS blasted the two areas they found the previous day. They continued to prospect the surrounding area at Wye Lake.

February 18, 2005 RW, NW, and OS continued to prospect the surrounding area and discovered three conductors on the North face of the hill at Wye Lake. They dig the three conductors, which were quite deep and got to the camp very late.

February 19, 2005 RW, NW and DS went to blast the three conductors discovered the previous day. When one was drilling the other two were prospecting the surrounding area.

February 20, 2005 Sunday RW. NW, and OS prospect around the Grid and along the trail, but found nothing. It was snowing and very windy. RW and NW went to fuel up at the junction about 75 kilometres away.

February 21, 2005 Monday RW and NW went to blast the two places they discovered the week before localized

February 22, 2005 Tuesday RW, NW and OS prospect at Wye Lake, but did not find any conductors and decided to prospect at Fox Lake on their way back to the camp, as they wanted to find conductors real bad.

February 23, 2005 Wednesday

RW, NW and OS went back to Wye Lake and found three beeps, but after digging the conductive spots they discovered two of them were garbage and buried very deep at approximately two feet deep. One of them was very confusing when it beeped as a conductor on top of the snow and after the snow was cleared it did not beep, but it had HFR - 216 and MAG - 232 readings. They decided to break a trail to another site and also fix up one of the brook crossing. RW contact Edwin Gaucher about the site for advice.

February 24,2005 Thursday RW. NW and OS went back to the Wye Lake and blasted the soil and had conductive response. They dig to the outcrop and blasted the area to sample. They also continued to prospect the area, but did not find any more conductors.

February 25, 2005 Friday RW, NW and OS went to prospect at Pats Lake, which was prioritised by Mr. Hoy from Free West Resources. They searched thoroughly for the anomaly indicated on the map and finally discovered the conductor, but only to find it was conductive clay after digging it out. RW and NW stopped on their way back at Windblown Lake brook and found a conductive reading HFR 6, and LFR 5. On the surface HFR 9 and LFR 7 and they dig two feet down and had HFR -378 and Mag -391 readings. They head back to the camp, as it was getting late.

February 26,2005 Saturday RW and NW locate an isolated anomaly between Wye Lake and Red Fox Lake. They dig it out and blast to sample. They continue to prospect the area and did not find anymore conductors. OS was nursing his back, which was giving him problems the previous days.

February 27, 2005 Sunday RW and NW went to blast the soil at Windblown Lake brook, which they had discovered on Friday. It had conductive readings before and after they blasted the area there was no conductive reading. They concluded that it was conductive clay. They went on to go prospect at south side of Wye Lake, where there are anomalies indicated on the map. They did not find any conductors.

February 28, 2005 RW and NW prospect on the North face of Windblown Lake. They find a conductor that beeps HFR 16 and LFR 5 with RT 29% on top of snow. On top of soil the readings were HFR 9 and mag -3. They dig down and got a reading HFR 22 and -61 mag with no percentage reading. RW took the samples to the Kashabowie store for Purolator to pick up to be shipped to Quebec.

March 1, 2005

RW and NW prospect at Windblown Lake, but did not find anything. They blasted two sites that they discovered the past week.

March 2, 2005 RW, NW, and OS prospect at Wye Lake and found a conductor and blast. They all went to Thunder Bay to meet Mr. Hoy.

March 3, 2005 RW, NW and OS prospect at Wye Lake and found a conductor and blast. This one also has a good showing.

March 4, 2005 Friday RW and NW cut trail to McGinnis Lake. It took them the whole day to cut trail.

March 5, 2005 Saturday RW and NW prospect at McGinnis Lake and found one conductor. They blast and took sample.

March 6, 2005 Sunday RW, NW and OS prospect at McGinnis Lake and found one conductor, but did not blast as it was getting very late.

March 7, 2005 Monday RW and NW prospect at Wye Lake. They also used the big beep mat to determine the size of the conductor at one particular area, as Edwin Gaucher has requested. It is large than we first determined using the regular beep mat.

March 8, 2005 Tuesday RW, NW and OS prospect at McGinnis Lake and blast an area that had both HFR and Mag readings.

March 9, 2005 Wednesday RW, NW and OS prospect at Red Fox Lake, but did not discover the anomalies indicated on the map.

March 10, 2005 Thursday RW and NW pack all the gear and equipment in the truck and drove the truck to Thunder Bay for Frederick Gaucher to pick up and drive it back to Quebec.

March 11, 2005 Friday FG drives back up to Quebec.
