The Company provides electricservice to approximately 1.5 million customers.In 2021, retail energy sales accounted for 77%percent of the Company's total sales of 66billion kilowatt-hours.

The Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary ofThe Southern Company, which is the parentcompany of three traditional electric operatingcompanies, Southern Power Company, andSouthern Company Gas. There is no establishedpublic trading market for the Company'scommon stock.
