FG Wilson has a combined manufacturing operations area

of over 186,000 sq. metres – from which we have capacity to

produce more than 130,000 generator sets each year.

Our product range from 5.5 – 2,500 kVA includes open and

enclosed generator sets, which offer outstanding value for money,

guaranteeing maximum efficiency and productivity. Key options

further enhance the standard product offering providing versatility

and flexibility throughout the range.

When your power needs are more challenging than normal

specifications, FG Wilson’s Power Solutions Team is dedicated to

providing bespoke solutions to meet complex power needs on a

project-by-project basis. Our Solutions offerings include diesel, gas,

bi-fuel and high voltage generator sets. Key generator set systems

including generator controls, PLCs, synchronising, cooling systems

and enclosures can all be customised to suit any requirement.

Our rental generator sets are designed to meet the rigours of a wide

variety of applications where temporary power needs exist. Ranging

from 20 – 2,000 kVA, they are fuel efficient and easy to operate.

Robust, galvanised, sound attenuated enclosures offer excellent

noise reduction and the ability to withstand the harshest on site

conditions.

Power Modules can also be customised to meet rental customer’s

exact requirements and have the ability to operate as complete

power stations, supplying electricity to national grids. Secure

containers are available for sites where safety and security are a

concern.

Our range of load transfer panels, are designed to enhance the operation of your standby generator set.

All control panels are electrically robust, installed in heavy-duty sheet

steel enclosures and equipped with the necessary generator set

instrumentation and protection devices. Our range includes:

• Key-start panels providing straightforward functionality and

reliability with heavy-duty industrial push buttons and switches

• FG Wilson DCP digital control panels providing simple, intuitive

control utilizing universal symbols via LCD screen and LED’s

• PowerWizard digital control panels combining straightforward

navigation with advanced metering and protection. Suitable

for use in automatic mains failure applications, they allow easy

monitoring and control of your generator set with stored

diagnostic information

• easYgen digital control panels which are compact, versatile and

easy to use. With integrated load management capability, they

are suitable for synchronising up to 32 generator sets running

in island mode, mains parallel and multiple unit mains parallel

operations

Genuine Parts are supplied from a 59,500 sq. metres facility in

Desford England, which stocks over 11,500 product lines. Highly

trained staff at each Dealership will assist you with all parts enquiries

– this includes organising shipment and delivery to ensure you

receive the right parts – of the highest quality – at the right time.

Our Dealers are experts in serving product maintenance needs –

including emergency breakdown coverage and routine servicing.

FG Wilson production methods optimise our product quality by

streamlining assembly and incorporating thorough testing for

defects at every stage of the build process.

Product produced in all our facilities follow strict quality

procedures to guarantee a consistent quality product throughout

Our team of Product Validation Engineers conduct extensive

prototype testing on all new product designs. Standard product

validation programmes include testing on load acceptance,

cooling, vibration, noise and water ingress. Such rigorous testing

ensures that new FG Wilson product reaches the market with

outstanding levels of quality.

Our facilities include Europe’s largest fully automated hemi-

anechoic chamber providing state of the art acoustic research

and test capabilities. Eleven witness test cells allow special

testing of open and enclosed generator sets. High voltage testing

and string testing can be offered to simulate conditions when

generator sets are installed in the field.
