Playing outside is fun! So what do you need? Fun and challenging toys for outside, of course! Like a trampoline to use up all that energy, or a great go-kart which brings a new adventure every day. That was Henk van den Berg’s idea over 25 years ago too. In his free time, he successfully built and sold his first go-kart. Encouraged by this success, he decided to use his summer holiday to build more go-karts. In the barn on his parents’ farm, he sawed, welded, fixed and painted.

Thus BERG Toys was born, now a world market leader in go-karts. Our go-karts are sold in more than forty countries! And besides go-karts, we also make and sell other toys for active play, such as BERG Trampolines. Visit our dealers to see and naturally try out the BERG Go-karts and trampolines!

BERG Toys wants to encourage as many children as possible to actively play outside. So there’s something for the youngest children too. BERG Toys specially developed the Junior line for them, so that they can enjoy their first go-kart at an early age.

BERG Toys products offer pure, timeless and honest fun. Playing outside together not only stimulates the motor system but also social and emotional development. We focus a great deal of attention on durability and safety. Children must be able to play with our products in a carefree and uninhibited way. After a unique and exhaustive go-kart journey that lasted two years, ‘our’ Brazilian, José Gerardo, alias Zé do Pedal, arrived in Johannesburg on 1st June 2010. His 17,000-km journey began on 10th May 2008 in Paris on an X-plorer X-treme provided by BERG Toys. The journey was difficult, but thanks to the indestructible go-kart and his own will power, he managed to reach the finish line.

The self-closing entrance ensures that no one can accidentally fall off the trampoline. All the poles also have a stylish black cover.

BERG Elite+ InGround not only looks great in your garden, it is also very safe. Standing only a few centimetres off the ground, the risk of accidents is minimised. BERG Toys advise providing a soft base around the trampoline. Every BERG Elite+

1 Technology

BERG Toys’ team of engineers are always working to find the best available safety features. These can be found in the protective edge, springs, Safety net and frame. A BERG trampoline means that you are always guaranteed the most effective safety features on your trampoline.

2 Above & beyond EU standards

The trampolines of BERG Toys are tested by TÜV and AIB Vincotte inspectors. But at BERG Toys we go even further. We have taken the initiative to work at European level to further tighten the safety standards and offer our expertise to the European Union as a member of the ‘CEN’ working group engaged in drawing up a new standard for privately-owned garden trampolines.

3 Testing lab

Due to the strict standards that BERG Toys sets itself, it has set up its own testing lab in addition to the European testing centres. It applies various leverage and jitter tests involving weights of as much as 970 kg to simulate use under the most extreme conditions. We also work with physiotherapists, testing centres and sports federations in order to maintain our expertise atthe highest level and to test our products.

4 Instructions

With every BERG trampoline we include clear safety and assembly instructions, as well as a free DVD which provides step-by-step instructions for learning to use your trampoline safely.

ATTENTION!

Despite the fact that BERG is the safest choice when it concerns selecting a trampoline, it is very important that children use a trampoline in a safe manner and that an adult, such as a parent or guardian, supervises children to ensure SAFE USE. Always read and observe the user and safety instructions that are supplied with your trampoline, before you start to use it.

Make sure that you install the trampoline correctly (e.g., sufficient space around the trampoline in case of a fall from the trampoline, sufficient height clearance above the trampoline).

Make sure that the trampoline is properly maintained. Make sure that you use the trampoline in a safe manner (ensure

children are supervised, allow only one person at a time on the trampoline, wear suitable clothing, etc.).

Only when observing these rules, the risk of using a trampoline is limited to a minimum. This is always the responsibility of the user/supervisor and not of the manufacturer and/or the supplier.

1. Function guarantee

A function guarantee is a guarantee on the functional use of the trampoline. Please consult the table below for the term of this guarantee.

The safety net and frame net are subject to a guarantee period of 2 years, while the other accessories are subject to a guarantee period of 1 year. Parts that are susceptible to wear and tear (such as elastics) and weather influences such as rust and discolouration are excluded from the guarantee.

2. Five-year service guarantee

BERG Toys guarantees that you can order parts up to five years after production, in contrast with many other manufacturers. This will guarantee years of fun, and it is a unique service in the trampoline segment.
