Cheed ka ras• or Andoli ka tel The important component of the mendh paste is cheed ka ras that is e dii ult to p o u e. But the su situte known as Andoli ka tel is used.


Tools used i the P i i g Process

Paaiya• - the p i i g ta le. The ta le is desig ed according to the ergonomics. The printers stand while working and print on the padded table. The ta le is padded ith jute a d loth fo esilie , the fabric to be printed is stretched on it to await the appli aio of the lo k.

Blocks- Wooden or Metal hand blocks are used • fo the p i i g. O e is the ui block and other is mendh block that is used to resist the printed pate .

B ush- The ush is used to lea the lo k ate • p i i g. The a si ks to the lo k hi h is removed by this brush.

A burner to heat the wax- The burner is fed • ith oal. The oal p o ides the e ui ed, e e

temperatured heat. The earthen vessel containing wax is put over the burning coal. The wax has to be heated o i uousl ill the p i i g is o e .
