Presented by: Riska Dian HardantiShanty PawantiAriq AlaudinMaharaniThe Relationship between Diabetic Autonomic Neuropathy and Diabetic Risk Factors in a Taiwanese PopulationTujuan : untuk melihat hubungan antara HRV pasien DM tipe 2 dan orang sehatStudi ini mengidentifikasi kasus sebelumnya dan potensi risiko baru Faktor-faktor untuk pengembangan DAN, yang mungkin penting untuk pengembangan strategi pengurangan risikoSampel : 271 pasien DM tipe 2 di Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, between January 2008 and April 2009 dan 170 orang sehat sebagai kontrolMetode : Case ControlNormal healthy volunteers who were institute staff, medical students and their relatives, were included as control subjects. To be included in this study, patients had to have been diagnosed with type 2 DM and been followed up regularly, every 3 6 months in the outpatient departments of Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital. Participants with a history of cardiovascular system disease, any concurrent illness and those taking medications known to influence cardiac, vascular or autonomic function were excluded.Hasil In conclusion, a significant correlation between DAN and diabetic risk factors was identified in a Taiwanese population. Higher BMI and TC, poor glycaemic control, a longer duration of DM, and a later stage of DM nephropathy were found to be risk factors for DAN.
